Palin’s DWTS Victory Makes Gay Man Shoot his TV
Nov 17th
Well, I’m just assuming he’s gay because anyone this upset with a dancing show must be, amiright?
From WISN here;
A rural man blasted his TV with a shotgun after watching Bristol Palin’s “Dancing with the Stars” routine, sparking an all-night standoff with a SWAT team.
67-year-old Steven Cowan became enraged while watching Palin dance on Monday evening. He felt Palin was not a good dancer.
He went to his bedroom and returned to the living room with a shotgun and blasted the TV, then pointed the gun at his wife, who managed to escape and call police. Tactical officers surrounded the house and finally managed to talk Cowan out Tuesday morning.
Hey, those ingenious robot autodialers we Tea Party folks put together are really working! LOL Look, I don’t even watch the show since I produce normal testosterone levels and am an avowed heterosexual. But if moonbats’ heads are exploding, I might have to tune in. Thanks to Moonbattery.

Kate Gosselin Takes Her Brood to Camp With Sarah Palin
Jul 23rd
In what is sure to shape up to be the WonderMom collision of the century, Kate took her kids to Alaska to go camping with Sarah Palin. I hope they wrap Mady in salmon strips and let the bears chase her.

From InTouch here:
Kate and her brood have traveled to Alaska with cameras in tow to meet up with the northern state’s most famous resident, Sarah Palin. “Sarah, Kate and the kids will go camping,” a source says, adding that Sarah’s father, a retired science teacher, and brother, a third-grade educator, will conduct a hands-on natural history lesson for 9-year-old twins Mady and Cara, and 6-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Leah, Hannah and Alexis. A mother of a big family herself, former vice presidential candidate Sarah is thrilled about the upcoming visit. “She’s excited because it will be fun and educational for the children. Sarah will even teach Kate how to avoid bears!”
Gadzooks. And there is another Palin/Gosselin collision here in Times Square:

Thanks to HotAir for the story.

David Kernell Verdict
Apr 30th
David Kernell, the son of a prominent Tennessee Democrat, hacked into the Yahoo email of Sarah Palin after the press blabbed about the email address in the paper. The jury returned a guilty verdict on unlawful access to a computer, which is a misdemeanor. Plus a guilty verdict on the obstruction of justice charge. Not guilty on wire fraud and a mistrial on the identity theft crime. Seems if he didn’t try to lie about it and destroy evidence, he’d've gotten away with a slap on the wrist. The obstruction charge has a 20 year sentence, but he will likely do 5 years or less.

From WBIR here:
A federal jury has found former UT student David Kernell guilty of obstruction of justice and unauthorized access in the breach of Sarah Palin’s e-mail.
The case is a mistrial on count one, the charge of identity theft.
The jury found Kernell not guilty on count 2, the charge of wire fraud.
Unauthorized access is a misdemeanor lesser included charge from count three, which accused Kernell of felony unlawful computer access.
The jury found Kernell guilty of obstruction of justice. That carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, with a fine up to $250,000.
The jury was to decide Kernell’s innocence or guilt; the judge will decide sentencing.
Charges, possible sentence
•Count three: unlawful computer access
Maximum 5 years in prison
$250,000 fine
3 years supervised release
Lesser included misdemeanor offense on count 3 carries a maximum of 1 year in prison
•Count four: obstruction of justice
Maximum 20 years in prison
$250,000 fine
5 years supervised release
Seems fair. I wonder if the Palins should sue the Kernells in civil court for the trouble they had to go through dealing with this? And as a lesson to everyone: Use good strong passwords on your accounts.

Palin Email Hacker Claims It Was All Just a Joke
Apr 21st
The wimpy curly-haired kid of a Tennessee Democrat is facing 50 years in prison for hacking into Sarah Palin’s email and for obstructing justice. His brilliant defense in court? “Ha ha, it was all just a joke! Its funny, don’tchagetit?”

From the AP here:
Jurors in the trial of a former college student charged with hacking Sarah Palin’s e-mail account in 2008 heard testimony Tuesday that the accused man didn’t believe in what Palin wanted to do when she was the Republican vice presidential candidate.
Palin has been subpoenaed to testify at the trial of 22-year-old David Kernell, and Todd Palin, and their daughter, Bristol, are also potential witnesses in the trial that could last a week or longer.
Kernell’s attorney told a federal jury that his client had no criminal intent and guessed his way into Palin’s personal e-mail.
However, Kernell’s former college roommate gave his testimony to open the trial.
“He definitely talked about how he didn’t believe in what she wanted to do,” David Omiecinski, Kernell’s former University of Tennessee roommate, testified as the chief prosecutor used video monitors to show jurors copies of the e-mail and obscenity-laced Internet postings traced to Kernell.
Omiecinski said he and others were having a party in Kernell’s absence at their apartment days later when FBI agents seized Kernell’s laptop.
Defense attorney Wade Davies said Kernell’s actions were a prank and that he tried to brag about it afterward and respond to Internet messages that accused him of lying. Davies said Kernell openly left an online trail to himself that the government has mixed into four felony charges. Davies said Kernell never tried to destroy any evidence on his laptop and that he was crying when called the FBI after learning of the investigation.
So it was a prank and he openly left a trail back to himself, but then burst into tears when the FBI got involved? What a sissy moron! Did he think the FBI would think his actions were clever and cute? This is going to be a short trial if the defense is admitting to the crimes. See previous story here.

Dan Riehl Drops Dox on Jessie “Gryphen” Griffin
Aug 4th
Annoyed that Gryphen of Alaskan Blog ImmoralMinority kept making up stuff about Sarah Palin, including spreading rumors that she was getting a divorce, which is why she had quit the Governor’s office, blogger Dan Riehl and freelance journalist RS McCain outed Gryphen by dropping dox on his ass.

Dan links to Jessie Griffin’s Myspace page and informs readers that this blogger, who is a kindergarten teacher, has written that he will force the boys he teaches to wear dresses so they somehow won’t get drafted to fight in Iraq.
Jesse Griffin, when discussing a possible military draft, wrote:
Quick hide your children! They are getting ready to feed them into Vietraq’s bottomless pit of death and destruction.
I am teaching my boys to wear dresses and swish when they walk because being ignorant or drug addicted is no longer a guarantee of being passed over. If your not willing to suck cock then pack up your going to Iraq! Posted by Gryphen at 7:34 AM
This addled 49-year-old moonbat is an assistant kindergarten teacher. Just one more reason to homeschool.

FBI Invades Dorm Party; Hacker Soils His Shorts
Sep 22nd
David Kernell, the son of a Democrat State Representative in Tennessee, and probable hacker who broke into Sarah Palin’s Yahoo email, crapped his pants when the FBI busted in on his dorm party at Midnight Sunday morning. David and his roommates jumped out of windows while the Feds took names and pushed everyone outside so they could search the apartment.

Email Intruder is about to learn what a backdoor intrusion is.
From WBIR here:
The FBI is stepping up its investigation of a University of Tennessee student, David Kernell who hacked into the personal e-mail of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
Agents with the FBI served a federal search warrant at the Fort Sanders residence of David Kernell early Sunday morning around midnight.
They presented their badges upon entering Kernell’s apartment, where several students were having a party, and took down their names.
The witness tells us they asked him and those who did not live in the unit to go outside. He believes the investigators took about 1.5 to 2 hours taking pictures of everything inside the apartment.
Kernell and his friends fled the apartment when the FBI agents arrived.
Kernell’s three roommates were also subpoenaed, and must testify this week in Chattanooga.
David Kernell is the son of Mike Kernell, a Democratic state representative from Memphis.
This young wealthy child of privelege does not believe that others should have the same privacy afforded to he and his liberal friends. Lets see how David likes his privacy in his jail cell when he tries to go to the bathroom in front of his cellmate, “Bubba the Meth Dealer.”

Obama Campaign Paid for Palin Smear Videos
Sep 22nd
The boys at the Jawa Report have done some pretty good investigative work and determined with a high degree of likelihood that Obama’s campaign manager, David Axlerod, paid a PR Firm, Winner and Associates to launch a viral video on YouTube to smear Sarah Palin.

The response after the Jawa Report broke the story? Winner and Associates launched their final solution. They began deleting their YouTubes and editing Wikipedia articles to hide their activities. Jawa has all the links.

Sarah Palin’s Yahoo Email Hacked
Sep 18th
The intertubes are abuzz about the hacking of Vice Presidential Candidate and Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin’s personal Yahoo.com email account. Michelle Malkin was outraged by the act, but she seemed more pissed off about the fact that Gawker reposted screenshots of the crime.

Gawker knowingly and deliberately published illegally obtained photos of the Palin children.
Where are the privacy absolutists now?
You think Palin Derangement Syndrome is bad now? These by-any-means-necessary lunatics are just warming up.
Bastards. Bastards all.
At first I thought this was all an elaborate hoax. The email account had less than 90 emails in the inbox, which is small for a personal account. Also, there were no bombshells of information gleaned other than email contact lists, which could have been compiled from anywhere. But confirmation came later when the McCain camp issued a statement that law enforcement was getting involved in the investigation.
The Reg has details here on the proxy server used by the 4chan user who broke into the account. The account was breached by guessing the security challenge, according to a follow-up post by Michelle Malkin here. The perpetrator goes by the name of Rubico and claims he did the hack on his own.
Liberals are all up in arms that Sarah Palin may have been using her Yahoo account to conduct state business. The email breach was unable to uncover any wrongdoing, but that doesn’t stop them from feigning outrage- not at the violation of a citizen’s privacy, but at the fact that the Governor had a Yahoo email account in the first place.
There is a lot to learn from this incident. First, make sure your free email accounts have strong passwords and you don’t choose easy-to-guess password reset challenge questions. Second, Governor Sarah Palin used this Yahoo account the way it was intended: As an untrusted, disposable convenience. There was nothing incriminating nor personally embarrassing on the account. You should treat your gmail, hotmail, yahoo and other free email accounts the same way.
Finally, Michelle was way offbase for criticizing Gawker over this issue. Reposting screencaps of an internet crime is not a crime, nor is it immoral. For a dozen years, Attrition.Org captured web defacements which were also federal crimes performed by the actual hackers. Posting a mirror of the defacement was not a crime. Posting screencaps the way Gawker did was no worse than posting a mirror defacement.
