Doesn’t he need naps? We can’t do much of anything any more that takes more than an hour or two tops. I find sticking to our wee boy’s sleeping & eating schedule is crucial.

We have been really lucky, I know. This kid is very flexible. He sleeps when he gets tired, which is usually in the car. But when we are walking around, he gets so excited to just be looking around that he will go for hours without seeming to tire out. And when he gets hungry, he eats, but its just bottles for now, which is easy to do on the go.

Once he starts on solids, its going to be harder to stay on the move with the kid.

After reading a host of sleep books, my idea that his schedule could be flexible or happen in the car completely changed. I liked Kim West’s book “Good Night, Sleep Tight” best.

But I guess I wouldn’t recommend reading sleep books with all their statistics and whatnot if you want to continue to have a life. You’d probably become a schedule Nazi like me.
