Virginia’s Health Care Freedom Act Upheld
The Middle Finger of the Apocalypse to Obama and his healthcare plan. Virginia passed a law saying that no one in the state of Virginia is required to purchase healthcare. Then Obama passed the health care overhaul and asked that the Virginia law be dismissed. A Federal judge said no way.
From HotAir here:
Federal judge Henry Hudson has refused to dismiss a challenge from Virginia on the constitutionality of the individual mandate in ObamaCare. The case will have to move to trial, and could imperil the entire overhaul:
A judge on Monday refused to dismiss the state of Virginia’s challenge to President Barack Obama’s landmark healthcare law, a setback that will force his administration to mount a lengthy legal defense of the overhaul effort.
U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson refused to dismiss the state’s lawsuit which argues the law’s requirement that its residents have health insurance was unconstitutional, allowing the challenge to go forward.
Ken Cuccinelli said that this law is unconstitutional because it requires people to purchase something strictly so they can be therefore regulated by Congress under the commerce clause. Proud to be a Virginian today!

I had no idea that injuries for men due to nut-shaving accidents were at an all time high, or that it even counts as news. I guess to me, the big news is that someone would have the balls (pun intended) to go to the emergency room after gouging themselves in the sack with a…

Step one was to give everyone free Obamacare. Step two is to ban all the things that make childhood fun. Case in point is the outcry by liberals that bouncy-houses cause their precious snowflakes to bump their wittle noggins. So bouncy-houses will have to be deflated to save on Obamacare cash. From the AP here:…

We knew it was coming and it was apparently what the majority of people in this country really wanted. Twitchy has a great roundup of companies here, including Boeing, Westinghouse, Research in Motion, Commerzbank, ING, Boston Scientific, Bristol-Myers, Caterpillar,…

The Republicans seem to be getting with the times. They have a really nifty twitter campaign to repeal Obamacare which features a UStream of the petitions getting printed out in real time. Rather slick. Yeah, you should sign up too. And the UStream is below: Live stream by Ustream

Obama has been dealt a string of setbacks and embarrassments unlike anything ever seen in American politics this week. From AmericanThinker here: Last Friday, Mr. Obama wandered into the killing of Trayvon Martin. Aided by his ignorance of the situation, knee-jerk prejudices and tendency toward racial profiling, Mr. Obama played a heavy hand in elevating a…

Meet typical babyboomer bleeding hearts Sherri and Gary Burton. Sherri gets cancer and is being treated at taxpayer expense with the best drugs our tax dollars can buy, but she encourages her aged hippie husband to keep tending his illegal grow operation because that is what “helps her sleep at night” despite those fancy expensive…

Kathleen Sebelius, the Health and Human Services Secretary for Obama is upset because the American People have deciphered the code of what Obamacare means- more taxes. She is so upset that she is determined to spend more tax dollars to launch a campaign of “reeducation” to clear up the misunderstanding people have that disagree with…
