I can't believe that came from your mouth!
Reason 617 To HomeSchool
The teacher will not be illiterate. An unbelievable story of deception was linked by Drudge today detailing a teacher’s 17 year career molding the minds of our nation’s children without knowing how to read or write.

Johnny Can’t Read. But he can teach your kids!
At least John Corcoran knows he was a douchebag by admitting:
“As a teacher it really made me sick to think that I was a teacher who couldn’t read. It is embarrassing for me, and it’s embarrassing for this nation and it’s embarrassing for schools that we’re failing to teach our children how to read, write and spell!”
Its also embarrassing that our schools can’t screen out an illiterate fraud, a drunk child molester or a junkie either.

All kids would be better off at home because we know parents never molest, abuse, or neglect their children like teachers do.

I am sorry to hear all of this news about teachers. I am a teacher in FL. When I moved here from Massachusetts, I had to be fingerprinted, background checked, and drug tested. All of which were at my expense. It disgusts me that teachers, who are supposed to care for your children could do such horrible things. I don’t mind all of the testing, it is almost rediculous the amount of information the public can have acess to about us here. They can go to the county office and get our address, unlisted phone numbers, look at our perssonel files, etc. If you are really wondering about your childs teacher contact the school district and see if you can do anything like that. It’s worth a shot if you are worried.
