The Electronic Frontier Foundation, or EFF, has been riding piggy back with the ACLU, trying to weaken this country’s ability to defend itself by suing companies that cooperated with DHS and the NSA in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks. The companys’ crimes? Turning over data that show how terrorists communicate inside the country.

EFF was begging liberals in Congress to vote against granting such companies amnesty in the renewed Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). EFF and the ACLU have already filed class action lawsuits claiming Americans have somehow been harmed by having their privacy invaded. Congress listened for a minute and then overwhelmingly rejected their arguments.
All I can say is Eat It Libs. Michelle Malkin has the details on the vote today. No word from the EFF yet regarding their defeat.
