Don’t Fall for the Transnational Logistics Money Mule Scam

I’ve written about Money Mule Scam sites in the past. Here is another one- a fake company calling itself “Transnational Logistics” poses as a shipping company and promises its recruits full health benefits, vacation and paid training. But what they are really doing is stealing identities of victims and setting them up to be money or package forwarding mules for Russian cyber criminals.

The company’s website claims it has been in business since 2000, yet the domain was registered in mid-February.

The chief recruiter, someone who goes by the fake name of “Brandon Jones” even signs all his emails like this:

**** GO N-Y-Knicks [!!!!]
Brandon A. Jones, Special Projects – (646) 797-3201 Transnational Logistics
(USA) Co., LTD.

Google that phone number and you can see that Brandon has been ripping people off for quite a while. Check out this Better Business Bureau complaint:

So if you get emails from this company, don’t fall for the lavish promises of employment, training and vacation. Its a scam. These Russian criminals want to use you to participate in their illegal schemes, leaving you to face the cops when the schemes collapse while they change names, change fake storefronts and recruit more victims.

Oh, and check out Brandon Jones’ fake LinkedIn page. These criminals go through some hoops to trick their victims!

Dr. Jones

Do not talk about fight club. Oops.

  • I’m glad to say that someone has stepped up to stop these cowardsfrom ripping people off

  • Thanks for positing this!! They need to be stopped.

  • Thanks for the feedback. Remember, if you’ve exposed your personal information to these cretins, put a flag on your credit account.

  • I’m glad I found this. I have been recently contacted and going throught their training. I will no longer respond to any messages. Thanks =!!

  • Good luck Jenn. And don’t forget to keep an eye on your credit score.

  • I almost fell for the scam till the started asking me for account number of credit cards. They have removed their web pages and the email addresses are not reachable. I called them out with the information this site posted! FBI was contacted….

  • Lisa, thanks! Looks like the website is still up as of now.

  • Yes I was falling for this too until they wanted me to take part in a “special project” in which I would put $3,000 worth of office equipment on my card and then they would give me their account info to put money back on my card. At this point I decided I needed to look up more info and did and found this out. The only thing they have of mine are my name and address other then that I have given no other information.

  • I am wondering if I need to put a flag on my report. I haven’t given them any pertinant information that cannot be found on-line.

  • Everything sounded legitimate. No charge for training. I completed all tests and took final. I never got a response back. All phone #’s are disc or always busy. They offered me a part time job and all seemed good. They said that none of my personal info would be needed but job details involved me using my credit card. I declined offer. I doubt I will ever see the $1500 they promised upon completion of the training.
