5 PM Music: The Velvet Underground – “Oh! Sweet Nuthin'”

There are very few songs that my rocker wife doesn’t know or hasn’t heard, especially when it comes to classic rock. But this song from 1970 is currently her absolute favorite as it has been on a few soundtracks lately. She loved the music when she heard it on the movie soundtracks, and was convinced this was a modern band. And she is right that the song sounds fresh today and could hold its own against lots of pop or alternative hits. Enjoy.
