As Predicted, Lefties Try to Create Scandals to Punish Rep. Joe Wilson

Representative Joe Wilson is the new conservative darling for standing up to Barack Obama and calling him out on his lies. As predicted yesterday by me, lefties are trying to uncover any kind of dirt on him so they can smear him as punishment for speaking out. First scandal? Joe Wilson popped some caffeine pills!

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), who shouted “you lie!” at President Obama during his Wednesday night address to Congress, admitted to regularly consuming caffeine pills in 2007.

It is unclear if Wilson still takes NoDoz, a brand of pill that contains 200 milligrams of caffeine a pop. By comparison, a seven ounce cup of drip coffee contains 115 to 175 milligrams of caffeine.

A source told The Hill in 2007 that the congressman ingested the tablets “like candy,” but Wilson insisted he was not addicted despite the fact that he had been taking them since high school.

As the Jawas point out, it is preposterous that any leftist would be outraged at this revelation considering that their Lord and Savior, Barry Obama admitted to snorting lines of coke in college and is an enthusiastic smoker of Kool cigarettes. Smoking and snorting coke is awesome, but popping no-doze is a crime. Riiiiiight.
