Jordanian Saloon Doesn’t Allow Poker and They Don’t Serve Whiskey
I spotted this fine business the other day when I ventured out of my hotel in Jordan. The sign says it is a Saloon just for men. I like my saloons to be populated with women.
And I’m not sure what they serve in there, but I don’t think it’s shots of whiskey.
So “Ladies Nite” is not a big thing over there?
I went to a saloon similar to this one when I was in Turkey in ’92, Probably 50 dudes, sitting at really low picnic tables elbow-to-asshole, smoking harsh Turkish cigarettes, and drinking what turned out to be the finest Pilsner beer I’ve ever had…..but not a broad in site.
We were told if you wanted to talk to a girl and not offend anybody, you had to visit the local whore-houses, which are legal in Turkey apparently.
