PETA Wants to Kill SeaWorld’s Shamu

InBev bought Anheuser-Busch, and part of that 52 Billion dollar deal included the properties of SeaWorld. Someone at PETA is claiming that one of their fanboys is looking to buy one of the parks and set the animals free, thus assuring their deaths in the wild. I know, it’s funny, right? They must have read my post from yesterday about killing whales. Even funnier is they want to replace the animals with dopey animatronic critters.

From the Sun-Sentinel here:

PETA says a supporter wants to buy one or more SeaWorlds from the theme parks’ soon-to-be new owner so it can free all the animals, even killer whales.

Belgium-based InBev, one of the world’s largest brewers, is to acquire the SeaWorld parks as part of its $52 billion acquisition of Anheuser-Busch Cos.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says an undisclosed donor wants to buy at least one SeaWorld park, then free the animals and replace them with virtual-reality or animatronic displays.

PETA’s donor wants to remain anonymous and doesn’t want to disclose how much he could pony up. “We don’t know how high this donor will go, but he is serious. Whales, dolphins and other marine life are very important to him,” she said.

I say go for it. PETA is no stranger to slaying animals. This stupid plan will kill a whale, which makes me giggle, and it will also drain the bank account of a liberal dimwit, who will undoubtedly go broke operating a park that no one wants to attend. That idea makes me giggle more.

Do not talk about fight club. Oops.

In a way, I feel pity for them. Just another group of Utopians, fighting for a world that will never exist. All talk and no Action. You’re gonna build animatronic killer whales? No, you’re not…why lie about it? 20 bucks says not one fishy or swimmin’ mammal gets released ‘cuz there is no mystery donor who is going to buy SeaWorld and set the animals free. Anyone who thinks this way doesn’t have any money.
