Amnesty International Claims Bradley Manning a UK Citizen
The most famous homosexual to ever serve in the US Military, Private Bradley Manning, is currently under lock and key in the brig in Quantico Virginia. He stole secret documents from the State Department and the Department of Defense because he got into a fight with his boyfriend. He then gave the documents to Wikileaks before his arrest. Now Amnesty International is claiming that the UK courts should try to take over the Manning case because he is a UK citizen because his deeply ashamed Mom was one. Of course the British system is notoriously lenient on crime and can’t seem to get people extradicted to the US on criminal charges.

The British government is under pressure to take up the case of Bradley Manning, the soldier being held in a maximum security military prison in Virginia for having passed a massive trove of US state secrets to WikiLeaks, on the grounds that he is a UK citizen.
Amnesty International called on the government to intervene on Manning’s behalf and demand that the conditions of his detention, which the organisation calls “harsh and punitive”, are in line with international standards.
Manning is a UK citizen by descent from his Welsh mother, Susan. Government databases on births, deaths and marriages show she was born Susan Fox in Haverfordwest in 1953. She married a then US serviceman, Brian Manning, stationed at a US base near the city, and they had a daughter, Casey, in the same year. Bradley was born in Oklahoma in 1987.
Born in the US, he is a US citizen. But under the British Nationality Act of 1981, anyone born outside the UK after 1 January 1983 who has a mother who is a UK citizen by birth is British by descent.
He has been held in the brig of Quantico marine base in Virginia since last July, having been arrested in Iraq, where he was stationed as a US army intelligence analyst two months previously.
He was the source of several WikiLeaks exposés of US state secrets, including the massive trove of cables released in November. He has been charged with illegally obtaining 150,000 secret US government cables and handing more than 50 of them to an unauthorised person.
He was recently put on suicide watch for two days, in which he was stripped to his underpants, against the advice of prison psychiatrists. He remains on a regulation that keeps him alone in his cell 23 hours a day and requires him to be checked every five minutes, and he is shackled hand and foot when he has visitors.
Heh. Quantico is worse than Gitmo, boys and girls. And Quantico is just where a US citizen traitor belongs. Liberals the world over think the gay soldier is a hero and want him released, but he has to answer to his crimes. Manning is being held for his crimes and will be tried and convicted as the traitor he is. And I really hope it continues to chap your leftist ass.
I feel that Europe has moved on into the 21st century – while USA prisons & psychological maturity are still stuck in the Victorian age. And being so retarded costs the USA dearly as its prison population is the highest in the world.
As for the “evidence” against Bradley – some chatlogs kept by the drugged hacker Adrian Lamo ON HIS OWN COMPUTER would not convince me. And the rest of the system was apparently so badly organized that 3 MILLION people could have leaked this stuff.
As for the lack of decent whistleblower procedures inside the USA Army – if the USA would have paid attention to the need for good whistle-blowing procedures (after Wikileaks) they would now not be embarrassed again by these Dead-squat/Afghanistan pictures coming out through a German Newspaper. And yes, they are warcrimes.
In the USA we actually have a justice system that works. We have something called the rule of law and violators go to jail. Manning violated those laws and will spend the rest of his gay life in an American prison. I think this is awesome.
And guess what dillhole? Those men who murdered innocents are also going to face the American justice system and will also likely end up in jail.
