Barrett Brown, the self-appointed spokesman for Anonymous, made a rambling, drug-addled paranoid video threatening the life of an FBI Agent. The FBI didn’t take too kindly to the threats so they responded swiftly with the LULZ, arresting Brown while he was engaged in an online chat.

The home of self-appointed Anonymous spokesman Barrett Brown was raided by the FBI last night while Brown was participating in an online chat.

“Two minutes into the recorded chat session, loud voices can be heard in the background of Brown’s residence while [a] woman in the room with him is in front of the computer screen,” writes Wired’s Kim Zetter. “She quickly closes the computer screen, but the audio continued to capture events in the room as the FBI appeared to be strong-arming Brown to put handcuffs on him. Brown can be heard yelling in the background.”

“Earlier Wednesday, Brown had posted a series of videos to YouTube railing against FBI agent Robert Smith,” writes The Atlantic Wire’s Adam Martin. “‘Robert Smith’s life is over. And when I say his life is over I don’t mean I’m going to kill him, but I’m going to ruin his life and look into his fucking kids,’ Brown says at about 10:45 in the third and final installment … At the very end of the video, he says he’s always thought he’d be dead before the age of 40, ‘and I wouldn’t mind going out with a couple of FBI sidearms.’”
