I flew back into town this morning and spent the rest of the day doing a ton of computer related stuff and had no time for blogging. I also made sure I got my boy out to the Reston Festival so we could ride some rides and enjoy a great summer evening. At one point we were hit with a deluge so we hid beneath the overhang of the Cotton Candy trailer and munched while we waited with other rain refugees for the storm to pass. We also got to listen to a local cover band entertain the crowds and Cartney took this opportunity to splash in the puddles to the beat of the music. Yeah, I know, he’s got no rhythm. He’s 4 and white. Whaddyagonnado?

And yeah, he got lots of accolades for his Piggly Wiggly shirt!
