Pokemon Creator Tsunami Death

Twitter is afire about the death of Satoshi Tajiri, the man who created Pokemon. Supposedly he was destroyed by a huge wall of water and floating cars.

But as it turns out, it is a hoax. Don’t know why anyone would start this oddly specific hoax, unless of course, the Pokemon creator is the only Japanese celebrity that this young cyber generation can think of.

When I first heard of the rumor, I thought it was a hoax and even laughed at the idea of young idiots around the world adorning their facebook pages with a weepy Pikachu.

But Satoshi Tajiri managed to survive the deadly tsunami. He was rescued by a military helicopter at sea. He was found floating in a huge plastic red and white interlocking ball.
