Pat, does the fact that the video has been confirmed to actually be the killing of innocent journalist by the US military not even matter to you? Classified or not, one thing is certain- three thousand some odd Americans died on that terrible day in 9-11-01. Since then, our government, in the name of “fighting the terror” has killed over 1 million, that’s 1,000,000 innocent people (compared to the 3,000 al-CIA-duh are claimed to have killed)and dislocated the lives of almost 3 times that amount of everyday citizens in the areas we are occupying. Now, I may be wrong, but lets tally the deaths caused by actual terrorists in the last ten years, and I am certain you will not get the same or equal amount of the innocent people we have killed in the name of fighting terror. No one life is worth more than another, and this is unacceptable. Brave people both in the Military and people like Assange are very much needed in today’s age to show the people the truth, that we are killing innocent people, not necessarily on purpose mind you, but we are killing them. How many al-qaeda have we actually captured or killed? Not even 100 of them, but for the few we have caught or killed, the number of innocent civilians to date we have murdered to “get” them has far out numbered the number of people who died in the Pentagon and the towers and the flight 93 on 9-11. No one life is worth more than another, and we need people to have the balls to stand up and show the public the truth. You truly sicken me with your words. If you knew anything, ANYTHING about this countries ever crumbling foundation, you would, should and very well could see that THE CONSTITUTION APPLIES TO TERRORISTS AS WELL. You read that right, and if you truly believe in freedom, you will know that its right. We need to see the truth, classified or not, in order to maintain true freedom. You sicken me.

Toadbile you are absolutely, and that IS the problem. The indoctrinated (such as you) never realize that the Constitution was so much more than a piece of paper used to form this country, it was for the first time in modern times the beginning of what could have been the basis of a truly free society, and by society I mean world. There’s some numbers and a source for you. One thing you must also keep in mind is that no one is truly “counting” the innocent deaths, and mostly what they have are based on media reports, and that’s understandable.

Now, what this means son is that for the 3000 some odd innocent people that al-qaeda is claimed to have killed here on 9-11-01, our military has killed 344 innocent people for every 1 person who died from 9-11-01. That’s a ratio of 344:1, 344 innocent Iraqi’s and Afghanies killed per one death we suffered on that day. NO ONE LIFE IS WORTH MORE THAN ANOTHER, and this unbalance is one of the prime reasons America is so hated, for our own people fail to realize this. That guy and girl whose picture was seen jumping from the Twin-towers were not worth 688 innocent Iraqi’s. Bottom line. I know you have your high horse, and more power to you!, but your life is not worth more or less than mine, the guy who wrote the comment above yours and under mine, the guys who writes the next comment, the owner of this website, Obama’s, or that random dude in the corner. OH! Forgot about this part Pat, if they did nothing wrong they would have nothing to hide. Bottom line. Classified info should only pertain to new technologies we discover here at home that could be misused, breakthroughs in science related to warfare, and names of Secret Agents and spies. The actual actions and videos or pictures showing what our military has ALREADY dont need not be classified, for the actions already happened. But it’s because they know what they did was wrong they try to hide it. It’s not excusable. I served 2 tours, I’ve played my part, and I know the bullshit that occurs. I only wish I could have done what some of these brave whistleblowers have done, alas I did not. I know first hand just how hard it is to actually distinguish between an insurgent and a civilian when they look exactly a like. The problem lies in the ball-less scared little pussies who wil actually follow protocol and open fire on anyone once we start getting shot at. The problem here is two fold- ONE: It is considered acceptable to kill a few innocent civilians in a section where we are under fire and TWO: Indoctrinated pussies like most those I served with will exploit this acceptable ratio for the most part because they have A)a power trip (gun in their hand) and B)lack a pair. Well I am glad that you need to use a government calculator to determine your worth. I, on the other hand, know you and I are equal, regardless of opinion. If you are not educated enough to know that 80% of classified documents “above my pay grade” are bureaucratic bullshit that really doesn’t matter much, even if they were released.
