5 PM Music: Goldfrapp – “Alive”
I’m a big fan of Goldfrapp, but I almost didn’t post this video because it is so bizarre. Allison Goldfrapp looks like Olivia Newton John on a disco platform shooting lazer beams at her Kiss army minions while girls in leotards and legwarmers do some old-school jazzercising. But then it gets wierd.
WTH was that??? I don’t know if I can process that video mentally at all. Disco, goth, death metal face paint, Olivia Newton John, a huge damn pentagram in the middle of the floor? None of those things should ever be seen in the same video.
Its the prize in a musical box of cracker jacks if they served snax in hell.
