Facebook Hell
I’m not on Facebook. This video reminds me of why. Look I think I have an awesome blog which draws about a thousand of lookie-loos per day, which is more than the traffic I would get if I just stuck to something like a social networking site. But I do know about Facebook and all of its drawbacks. This video best represents the hellish reasons why I refuse to join:

Precisely why I have a “no friending anyone I currently work with” rule. And if anyone who is a friend bothers me about why I’m not giving them enough attention about facebook I ignore them. Because all they do is ask me electronically, they never ask me directly. Dur.

Not a social-networker either… BUT… I got a call from my brother Sunday to inform me one of my college buds was trying to find me, and found my brother on Facebook. I had lost track of my friend years ago so it was good find him again, so score one for Facebook. (I’m still not signing up.)

I’ve been on FB for about six months and still only have 32 friends because I ignore everybody else. Still, the number of people I interact with, beyond the initial, “hey, how’re you doing. Been a long time.” shit, has dwindled down to exactly 2. All the stupid games and quizzes irritate the shit out of me! I think it’s run it’s course for me and I’ll probably close the page down.
