This Malaysian girl, Zee Avi, has an angelic voice, and coupled with the soft old radio sound, this song is catchy and what is sure to be a hit when her self-titled record is released on May 19th. She was discovered by the White Stripes’ manager Ian Malone and was signed to Brushfire records which is owned by Jack Johnson. Her star is rising pretty quickly- she will be at Bonnaroo this year.
