Some Critters in the Neighborhood

My wife took a snapshot of this fox sitting in a patch of snow-free grass behind our house. He has long black feet and a long snout. I have seen other foxes stalking the nearby area, but some of them looked pretty mangy. This one looks rather healthy, and hopefully it will keep some of the rodent population down.

We have been on travel for the past few days to see my parents in the Hampton Roads region.  While there, we saw the funniest looking chicken at the BlueBird Gap Farm near the Coliseum.

I think this goofy bird is trying to steal satellite TV.
