Negro Navigator: Web Browser for Blacks Only
A bunch of enterprising white supremacists got together and reinstituted the Jim Crow laws for the digital age in the new millennium. Angry that blacks get to use Google and Internet Explorer just like good white folks, they went off and created a web browser that only blacks can use. It has black news, black shopping deals, lots of videos of black people dancing, and all the hip-hop music black people can listen to.
Its shocking to see that in the year that a black man becomes president there are still racists like this in America. From FoxNews here:
Billed as “the Web browser for the African-American community,” it’s a modification of Mozilla Firefox with a different color scheme — black and earthy shades of green and brown — as well as certain built-in features meant to appeal to black Americans.
These include “Black Search,” which brings up results tailored to what its backers assume are African-American interests; “Black News Ticker,” which does more of the same; and “Blackbird TV,” which is “the best of Black video on the Web.”
“We believe that the Blackbird application can make it easier to find African American related content on the Internet and to interact with other members of the African American community online by sharing stories, news, comments and videos via Blackbird,” reads a press release posted by 40A, the somewhat mysterious firm behind the browser, on the CrunchBase Web site.
I can’t believe that someone has created the equivalent of a “blacks only water fountain” in this day and age. What? Waitaminnit! This browser was made by black people?? Well that’s different, isn’t it? The company that made this browser, 40A, (get it, 40 Acres and a mule?) might want to get in a new line of business and make water fountains for blacks too. And separate dining facilities, bathrooms, and school houses.

Racist and sexist? Dunno. I do know they do not practice inclusiveness and tolerance of other viewpoints. How’s that for some liberal double-speak?
