Tom Cruise Extending His String of Box Office Flops

Tom Cruise’s latest flop, the retarded anti-war movie, Lions for Lambs opened this week to dismal reviews.  I mean, everyone hated it, even the die-hard liberals that were supposed to love it.  And its on its way to be a Bomb too.  Only 6.7 Million on opening week.  Ouch.

But quickly coming on the heels of this flop will be Cruise’s Nazi film where he is portrayed as the only German who wanted to kill Hitler.  And it is being panned based on the film’s trailer alone!  It seems that the Scientology Jesus couldn’t miracle up a German accent.  Not even a poor one.  Sheesh, at least pretend to have some effort.

You can see the trailer by clicking here.  I won’t embed the trash on my blog.

Fox News’ Roger Friedman had a hilarious, scathing critique here:

Jerry Maguire tried to kill Adolf Hitler? Or was it Joel from “Risky Business”?

The first trailer is out from the Tom Cruise movie “Valkyrie” and it’s a doozy. This misguided attempt by Cruise to win fans for Scientology in Germany by playing a local hero has got to be the single worst idea in modern movie history.

Cruise wears an eye patch and a Nazi uniform, but speaks with the same flat, unaffected American accent that places him somewhere between Redondo Beach and Johnny Rockets.

How long before he tuns into Box Office Poison?

Dr. Jones

Do not talk about fight club. Oops.

  • Yeah, everything he’s done since he broke up with Nicole has been a downhill slide. Coincidence? Maybe. I’ve never thought much of his acting skills.

  • Hey Bill,

Yeah, his acting was always so one dimensional. And his movies were always the same thing- He was the best there was at what he did; he stumbles; he comes back; he gets the girl.

Top Gun, Cocktail, Color of Money, Days of Thunder, The Firm, Jerry McGuire- all the same plot, only his career was different.
