Megan Williams is a Criminal Too
The story of the Megan Williams torture case took a twist when she appeared in court to answer her own warrants for charges of check fraud. She had been writing useless checks and had been hiding from police for a while. I was wondering if she had a criminal history because the press kept talking over and over again about the 109 criminal charges against her 6 kidnappers.
Surprise! I’m wanted for fraud! Does that make me a liar?
As I stated previously, Megan Williams was familiar with the criminal nature of her abusers and should not have been surprised that they may have violent tendencies.
In another development, Frankie Brewster, the crazy mother of Megan Williams’ ex-boyfriend Bobby Brewster, confessed that she forced Megan to perform oral sex on her.

The list of horrors allegedly endured by a woman at the hands of six people in a remote trailer grew during the suspects’ court hearings.
Reading Tuesday from a statement 20-year-old Megan Williams gave deputies the day she was rescued from the ramshackle home, a sheriff’s deputy said she had been stabbed with what she described as a butcher knife and beaten with wooden sticks and fly swatters.She said she was sexually assaulted, doused with hot water, forced to eat animal feces, and taunted with racial slurs. Among the new allegations, she said hot wax was poured on her, and that two of her captors forced her to drink a cup of their urine.
“They told me if I tried to get out they was going to hit me and stuff. I was scared of them,” Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeffrey Robinette read from Williams’ statement.
In a statement to deputies, Frankie Brewster detailed her role and implicated others, saying “I just want to come clean.” Brewster also is accused of forcing Williams to perform oral sex on her.
In another courtroom Tuesday, Megan Williams answered outstanding warrants from three counties charging her with crimes involving worthless checks. She was released on $8,000 bond.
As I have said previously, no one deserves to be assaulted, kidnapped and raped. But when you hang out with murderers and criminals and engage in massive check fraud across three counties yourself, can you really be surprised that it would happen? What’s that phrase about birds of a feather? And what goes around…?
Hey mainstream media, this is not the hate crime you’re looking for.
Update! The hospital interview transcript has been released. You can read Megan Williams’ description of events here. To me it sounds at times horrifying and at other times farfetched. It seems for every question the police ask Megan responds with an answer intended to shock and place blame on Bobby and the rest of the WV six. To me the most telling was when the cops asked her if there was blood on the chair she claimed she was stabbed in, she said no because they cleaned it up to destroy evidence.
dont get me wrong, I dont think this is a hate crime. you know me long enough to know that I hate that term.
I do think that ALL the people involved (including Megan) should spend some time behind bars.
I think that trailer was a den of thieves. And Megan had a prominent seat on the couch in that den.
Coming in late to the conversation – big surprise on my part – but why the outrage with this story and the Jena Six and NO OUTRAGE – virtually NONE – when the story of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsome broke??? BT, welcome back, long time no see!
I do know of the Channon Christian and Chris Newsome story. While there was not much outrage over this story when it broke, it has indeed gotten much attention in the blogosphere.
And conversely, while this story of the WV torture case broke big, I have noticed that the mainstream media is quietly ignoring the updates of the story. Because I think, they are realizing it is not the hate crime they were hoping to be able to cover.
It honestly goes back to my point about how the mainstream media wants to highlight racist white-on-black crime as if it were the 1950’s.
The whole Megan case should be a big deal, because racism is still going on today, and i think by now as humans, we shouldve progressed enough not to do such things. If you are going to tell me that this wasnt a race issue, you need to look at the area this place happened in, and how race is divided in such areas of the u.s.a. i live in Nyc, and stuff like this does not happen here… yeah people have gotten shot and you cant walk in central park after dark, but you shouldnt be afraid to talk to people… i dont think its fair to say she should have avoided these people. i dont avoid people , why should she. And even if she did write fake checks, shes young, and that has NOthing to do with violence, and sick-twisted crimes. That sh*t was like straight out of a horror movie.
I think the media should cover stories like these, and people should learn from them. However, it doesn’t always work out that way.
This is more of a case of an abused girlfriend than it is about a hate crime or racism. You cannot dismiss her criminality either, Mel. Don’t excuse the fact that she’s young- she was the same age and most of her attackers, are you going to excuse her attackers’ crimes on youth too? Of course not.
Megan was running her own checkwriting fraud scheme across three counties and she hung out with her white boyfriend in a den of thieves and murderers. For months, without incident. Then one day they turned on her.
Ok, first this was no hate crime. Megan dated Bobby for a few months prior to the events that occurred. This home was a drug den. All involved including Megan were there for the prescription pill they recieved from doctor hopping. Also, what was done to her was horiffic, but things will come out in court that will make you all understand why she didn’t leave any of the numerous times she had the opportunity. let’s just say she didn’t want to go to jail herself… Just follow up and the truth will come out on all things that are or at least should be doubted from Ms. Williams.

Thanks for the comment. This is the first I had heard about prescription meds being involved. I had suspected there were drugs, but I didn’t know what kind. Probably Oxycontin, etc. I would guess.
Your welcome. There’s so much more to this case that the media doesn’t include in their stories. I suppose it doesn’t make good news. Megan is not as innocent as everyone wants to think. Her past suggests that she is a person who tells many falsehoods and tries to get any attention that she can get. Her mother also has said some things that are untrue. She knew where Megan was, b/c in June she mailed Megan her birth certificate to the Brewster home b/c Frankie Brester had heard that she was underage and didn’t want her to stay there…. so much more will come out!

honey, there’s a world of difference between writing bad checks (something I’ve done by accident, when I had less money in my account than I thought) and torture.
