His Shoes! Did You See That?!!

I caught bits and pieces of the X-Games in the pub over the weekend, including the part that showed Jake Brown take a four story dive from a skateboard.  It was the most wince-inducing pummelling I have seen in a long time. 

Most of the judges were impressed that Jake did a 720 in competition.  Listen to the video below and you will find that one judge was amazed at Jake’s shoes.

Reports say that Jake had a bruised liver and bruised lungs, but amazingly no broken bones.  Jake even got up and walked away from the fall.

Seriously, tho-  Why would anyone want to stand on a skateboard and go down this ramp like this?  Does it get them lots of cute and intelligent women?  No?  I think they do it so they can be admired by other dudes.
