Giant Bird-Eating Spider Peeking
We took time out from Beach Day to visit Butterfly World, which, in addition to the incredible butterflies, they also had an Insectarium and a Lorikeet aviary.
Jess was overcome with an outrageous case of the creepy-crawlies in the Insectarium, mostly due to the fact that living, free-roaming Orb Weaving spiders had webs hanging in the corners of the room. If that weren’t enough, there were hissing cockroaches and scorpions, and Jess fled the building.
While she was outside, Cartney and I laughed at all the huge spiders, 3-inch grasshoppers, and giant millipedes. While Jess was outside, Cartney posed with this huge bird-eating spider.
