Rubik’s Cube Turns 30!

I have one sitting on my desk at work that I fiddle with when I am on boring conference calls. And yeah, I can solve a rubik’s cube, usually in under 5 minutes. I got one for Christmas when I was a kid and used the solution book extensively so that even today working the solution often involves more muscle memory than it does remembering the steps. Here is the commercial that promoted the puzzle in 1981.
