Pentagon Shooting UPDATED- Shooter was Leftist 9-11 Truther
Before 9/11 you could get off of the Metro and take a long escalator upstairs to a set of turn stiles, show a badge if you had one, and enter the Pentagon. Now they have removed that escalator and send visitors up and outside of the Metro station to where a large Metro Bus station is.
To enter the Pentagon now, there is a guard shack next to the bus station where visitors have to go through a metal detector and show proof of citizenship. It was at this guard shack where the shooting took place when some deranged dolt, John Bedell pulled a handgun on the hapless guards. Thankfully those guards were well trained and they reacted swiftly to put Bedell down.

Two police officers were injured by a suspect who opened fire outside the Pentagon tonight after the officers asked him for an access pass, police said.
The encounter left the suspect, who did not speak before opening fire around 6:40 p.m., in “pretty critical” condition, Pentagon Police Chief Richard S. Keevill told reporters.
The suspect was identified as John Patrick Bedell, sources told ABC News and The Associated Press, which added that he was 36 years old. Keevill would only say the suspect was “an American citizen, as far as I know.”
“The officers were emphatic about saying he was very calm, that there was no distress,” Keevill said. “He had his arms down at his pocket. We see folks come up to the Pentagon every day that have their passes in different places. He reached into his pocket. They assumed he was going to get his pass out. He came out with a gun and just started shooting.”
Can’t wait to find out why Bedell thought he could gun down Pentagon cops. My bet is he’s a leftist nutjob.
UPDATE! I was right. Leftist nutjob was a 9/11 conspiracy theorist and a huge pot head and addict. That gunfire that rained down on his leftist ass killed him. Ta Ta stupid.
Somewhere a lefty blogger will start a rumor Bedell attended a Tea Party, and was reportedly seen in the same city once visited by James O’Keefe. But odds are you are correct, rightwing nutjobs only kill census workers and IRS agents. (sarc)
Since my stepsister watched it go in from her window, I find these people particularly idiotic… So, here’s my modest proposal. Those guards, more likely than not, don’t hit the shooting range enough, so I think they should all come down, one at a time and line up. The guards could maybe have a competition; like playing horse on a basketball court; varying distances; different stances… It’d be a lot of fun for them and… Our gene pool will be a lot deeper in the end.
It will be interesting to see how this is treated by the MSM.
