Pastry Chef Refuses to Sell Cake for Lesbian Wedding

A state law in Oregon demands that no public business is allowed to withhold services to homosexuals. But when a lesbian couple were denied a tasty wedding cake because the owner doesn’t believe in gay marriage or homosexual behavior based on religious principals, the lesbians complained to the nanny state. Because butthurt.

But the baker has a point. His constitutional rights supercede state rights. In addition, the state’s attorney general is demanding an email from the baker that would amount to confessing to discriminating against a customer, essentially attempting to violate his fifth amendment rights too. The baker would be best to throw that letter from the attorney general in the trash. Do you think this cake maker’s business should be punished over his religious beliefs?
