EPA Now a Few Stormtroopers Short of Full-Blown Nazi Regime

The Environmental Protection Agency is tax-payer funded and is supposed to protect our nation against pollution and poisonous materials from being released into our environment. But now they are recruiting children to be insider police against schools and have even put humans into a gas chamber to test the dangers of deadly gases.

First from CNS here about the EPA-recruited brownshirts:

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a website page of a 26-page EPA report entitled, “Sensible Steps to Healthier School Environment.” In the report’s chapter on Energy Efficiency, the EPA presents a box with items to help establish “Energy Efficiency Opportunities for Schools.”

One of the items in the box reads, “Educate students and staff about how their behaviors affect energy use. Some schools have created student energy patrols to monitor and inform others when energy is wasted.”

The website states “emphasize social action through environmental education gives students a chance to do something about environmental problems instead of just hearing about them.”

The APS website says that patrol members can be provided with ID tags, vests and clipboards. Their responsibilities include leaving reminders to better conserve energy in rooms they find that have the lights on but are unoccupied.

In Alabama schools, the energy patrols are described as groups of 10 to 20 students who are tasked with monitoring the school’s energy use.

“When lights are found on unnecessarily, they are quickly turned off,” the website states. “Periodically, thermostats are also checked to see that they stay at an energy saving 70 in the winter and 78 in the summer. All windows and doors will be noticed for efficient solar energy usage and all water leaks will be reported. Door hangers are left as reminders to do better and to provide encouragement or praise.”

And in addition to recruiting young kids to be informants, the EPA has pushed 41 people into a gas chamber and forced them to breathe air that they had already deemed deadly. From American Thinker here:

The Environmental Protection Agency conducted disturbing experiments that exposed humans to inhalable particulates the agency has said are deadly.

The trials, which were carried out at EPA’s Human Studies Facility at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, exposed subjects to fine particulate matter (called “PM2.5”) at extremely elevated levels for up to two hours at a time.

“EPA obtained their PM2.5 from a diesel truck,” explained Dr. David Schnare, a former EPA litigator who is now director of American Tradition Institute’s Environmental Law Center, which filed the lawsuit in Virginia. “It is difficult to overstate the atrocity of this research.

EPA parked a truck’s exhaust pipe directly beneath an intake pipe on the side of a building. The exhaust was sucked into the pipe, mixed with some additional air and then piped directly into the lungs of the human subjects. EPA actually has pictures of this gas chamber, a clear plastic pipe stuck into the mouth of a subject, his lips sealing it to his face, diesel fumes inhaled straight into his lungs.”

“During these experiments,” Milloy wrote, “the study subjects were intentionally exposed to airborne fine particulate matter (“PM2.5”) at levels ranging from 41.54 micrograms per cubic meter to 750.83 micrograms per cubic meter for periods of up to two hours.”

Three doctors violated EPA standards of conduct in human research as well as the Hippocratic Oath.

But hey, eco-religion demands that some people have to be the sacrificial lambs in order to get the necessary regulations passed that will save us all. Is gassing people in the name of big government okay? How about recruiting kids to be brownshirts to turn off lights?
