I can sympathize with the recipient of these messages. Never has a 500 dollar laptop resulted in such a pain in the ass.

For my Mom I usually track down all of the facebook related viruses and malware installed from phishing attacks she so happily falls for. I’m always telling her, Mom, you don’t NEED a new rolex, no matter how cheap the email says it is. Don’t click on those.

Just kidding Mom, love you (she reads this), you are nothing like the lady in this video. Granny is tho, and she gave me back the Dell laptop I bought for her because it was “just too complicated” to operate. I loaded Fedora on it instead and use it as a second laptop around the house.
