Chickenfoot is the new Superband that is an offshoot of Van Halen, which includes Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, along with the former drummer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chad Smith and superstar guitarist Joe Satriani. Gads, these guys sound alot like 5150 era Van Halen, but with a modern twist. Enjoy.
Their new album comes out on Friday.
Sweet. Like him or not, Sammy still has one of the best rock vocal sounds around. Interesting to read about how poorly the Van Halen brothers treated Michael Anthony (and just about everyone else). The more I read, the bigger jerks they become.
