I tease McDonald’s Corporation for airing commercials that appear to be racist to a white dude like me. I blogged about that here. But the company has one of the best charities- the McDonald’s House, which provides room and board for families while a child is coping with disease. They also run the McJobs program which helps adults with mental retardation. These are both charities and community programs that are immensely rewarding to our society.

But I wonder. If McDonald’s could have found a black kid with Down’s syndrome, would they have made him dance in a commercial?
