Hacker Menu From Symantec ISTR

If you are a member of the Hacker Underground who can’t get your own ill-gotten gains, you can always buy some stolen identity data from hackers that have more than they need.

According to Symantec’s Internet Security Threat Report here, the following menu details the current going prices for stolen data and identity information. In other words, if you get your identity stolen it’s worth this much to hackers:

So say you accidentally downloaded a trojan program onto your system. It saps away your logins to your mail, your online banking, and your credit card information. Your Ebay account is also compromised. The nightmare about to overtake your life in getting your accounts fixed is equivalent to $15.40 to the hacker at worst. At best, $1,058.

Thanks to Sans for pointing out the ISTR. A previous post about Hacker menus is here.
