French Surrender the Olympic Torch to Protesters
Leave it to the French to extinguish the Olympic flame. The protesters rightly think that china is a horrible country, and they overwhelmed the police barricades, causing the torchbearer to flee in panic and snuff the flame.

The Olympic torch has had to be extinguished three times amid protests by anti-China demonstrators in Paris.
Thousands of police sent on to the streets to protect the torch relay as it made its way around the city could not prevent protesters disrupting the event. The torch had to be extinguished three times and re-lit twice amid safety fears caused by the demonstrations.
Next the torch goes to San Francisco. Where they have lots of crazy protesters. Whoever wrote up the torch-route for the International Olympic Committee in China is going to get a bullet to the brain. Little known Olympic Fact: Every time the torch gets snuffed, a Chinese politician gets executed.
I’m hoping the torch gets captured and sold on Ebay.
Put yourself in the shoes of a French Cop. While we are talking about the French, you gotta pick you battles. Getting hurt for the Chi-Com torch is not something I would chose either.
I would have let them have it at the starting gate.
