Check Out Google Moon

I have already wasted several hours looking at the Apollo Lunar Missions as they are documented on moon.google.com. Google has taken a map of the moon’s surface and have overlaid it with each of the six lunar landings, and have documented each of the mission’s exploratory points on the lunar surface with information and photos.

I found myself looking at some of the panorama photos and imagining what it must have been like to stand there on a different world so far from home. I think I would have panicked from the fear and sense of isolation I would have felt.

Apollo 14 seismic experiment.

Congrats to Google on a great feature.
