Senate About to Become A Little Less Klanish?

Senator Robert Byrd, Democrat and former Klansman is in the hospital. He may not survive his stay, which is ironic considering he voted for Obamacare.

From the StarTrib here:

The 92-year-old West Virginia Democrat has been in the hospital since late last week, his office said in a statement. At first Byrd was believed to be suffering from heat exhaustion and severe dehydration, the statement said, but other medical conditions have developed. His condition was described as serious.

Again, as a reminder, it was the Democrats who created the KKK to keep blacks in line and either not voting in elections or to vote Democrat. Considering that 90% of blacks still faithfully vote Democrat, I guess you could say the Klan’s tactics worked.

Here is a famous quote from Senator Byrd:

“I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side… Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

– Robert C. Byrd, in a letter to Sen. Theodore Bilbo (D-MS), 1944

I wonder if West Virginia will vote another Democrat to the Senate as a replacement if he dies?

Dr. Jones

Do not talk about fight club. Oops.
