Ever wonder where the sysadmins pull their excuses from when they are asked to do simple tasks which are supposed to be part of their jobs? I used to think they pulled the excuses from their asses, but there are so many excuses I don’t think they can be stored in such a confined space.

To aid my beloved sysadmins in the management and administration of their excuses, I have installed a widget on my blog to the right called “BOFH Excuses of the Now” that can generate excuses on demand. The widget is taken from the BOFH excuse generator and is melded with a WordPress quote generator widget created by Srini.  Thanks to Sean for the idea.
