So Long, Lurhq

Security Firm Lurhq merged with SecureWorks. I admit I dont know much about SecureWorks. But when I was with the Feds, Lurhq was known for its solid malware analysis and threat modeling. They were a great outfit, and I will miss seeing their names in the Press. SecureWorks got a good company in this deal.

From CNET:

Security providers SecureWorks and Lurqh announced Wednesday that they have merged to form a single company called SecureWorks based in Atlanta. SecureWorks is a specialist in preventing and detecting external threats to corporate networks, while Lurqh focuses on managing and identifying internal threats to a company’s security. SecureWorks’s CEO Mike Cote will continue his role at the combined company, with Lurqh CEO Tony Prince moving to executive vice president in charge of strategy.
