Annoying Witch Casts a Stalking Spell
Rusty Lee Freeman, also known as the Reverend Rapid Cabot Freeman, is a fat middleaged dork who likes to pretend he is a high priest of a fake religion and also likes to pretend to be an American Indian. He hosts a train-wreck of a show on cable access. Currently he is hurling charges of discrimination at the town of Sprague, Connecticut, because the town won’t let him use its public library to perform witch spells on Halloween. It seems he lacks the brains, cash, and residency to be allowed a permit.

As it turns out, all his bitching in public earned him a trip to the jail on charges that he stalked a woman he used to work with. And its not his first stalking charge. The guy collects restraining orders as if they were Harry Potter trading cards. From TheDay.Com here:
The real name of the Witch of Baltic is Rusty. And as to his witch credentials, well, there is some question of that. But Rusty Lee Freeman, aka the Rev. Rapid Cabot Freeman, has been arrested for stalking a Norwich teacher.
Freeman was claiming he was a victim of religious discrimination in Sprague. The first selectman, he said, had thwarted his plans to perform a demonstration of witchcraft for kids and their parents in that town’s public library on Halloween.
But no sooner had the story appeared in The Day than Norwich police, who’d been seeking him on a warrant since July, arrested and charged him with second-degree harassment of Kelly Hajduk.
Hajduk said Wednesday that Freeman had pursued and harassed her, beginning in 2002, and had ignored a cease-and-desist order sent to him by her lawyer. Finally, on July 12, she went to the police.
Hajduk and Freeman became acquainted, Hajduk said, when each of them was doing a show on public access television. Her show was “Concert Connections”; his was “The Witching Hour.” They became friends, she said, until he wanted to take it further. “The bottom line was he was just asked to leave me alone, and he didn’t,” she said. In fact, she said, Freeman became hostile and threatening.
Freeman told police that he continued to call Hajduk because “I was trying to get her to testify in my divorce from my ex-wife, Alicia.” Alicia Lyon Folberth and Freeman were divorced in August, and Folberth has a restraining order against him. Folberth has written a 20-page letter, which she posted on the Internet, alleging that Freeman abused her, which he denies.
Freeman’s divorce, he said, was over his adherence to “the Cabot tradition” of witchcraft, propagated by the Witch of Salem, Laurie Cabot. ”I’m an honest guy that went through a bad divorce,” he said. “But the reason I divorced her in the first place is that she wanted me to renounce the Cabot tradition.”
The divorce led to his demotion from an honorary third-degree to a second-degree priest of witchcraft within the Cabot organization, he said. ”I’ve been a victim of the American system forever,” Freeman said. “The only person that’s harassing anybody is my ex-wife is harassing me.”

I loved all of it except for the last part. Rusty isn’t Wiccan, and in my opinion, just a practioner of Bitchcraft, and a disgrace to Witchcraft. Don’t confuse this poser and what he preaches with real Wiccan religion – it has nothing to do with Satanism. Satan is a part of Judeo-Christian Mythology.
I recently attended a circle he was holding… now I don’t really know the guy, but I’ve done a bit of research on him. I want to know who I’m dealing with. Well, here is what I have found. He never was charged with anything, according to public records,in Connecticut (not saying anything did or did not happen). All I am seeing is a bunch of he said she said stuff. While he is the kind of guy I would spend time with alone, I don’t see any harm in not avoiding him.
Rapid is kind and genuin man who had been harrased by his ex and Kelli roadkill. all he wanted her to do is sign a letter that he never hurt her as allisa claimed, she lies, I am the reason he called Kelly, I thoght she want ed to correct the lies. she told me herself that he never raped, or hurt her in any way and was overheard saying it to me in Norwich at the good will. I told himn to call her, I thought she might want to make good on her word, not, she lies as they do. his name has been Rid for at least 9 years that I am aware, of. he has record until I told him to call thought she wanted to make right, she told me ,appproched me, and swore Allisa was a lier. I have written this on a legal court sign paper and so has the person the heard it.

Yes, Rusty Lee Freeman was arrested on channel 8 news. He was granted AR so that Kelly can keep her protective order against him for TWO years of his PROBATION. He made to final mistake of threatening Kelly and her boyfriend on their answering machine. And hey, if he screws up his probation he goes to jail and loses AR.

Patti, I think the police records, arrest records and other items I’ve been able to find on this man prove you wrong. I’m a news anchor and reporter for a fairly small radio station, and news of his arrest came across both the Metro Networks and AP wires. If you want to argue the facts, it may be best you have those facts correct.
As for Pat, the comment that Wiccans are “downsy” is pretty offensive. If you want to be taken halfway seriously, leave the third-grade insults at home. If you say Wicca is a fake religion, you must have proof other religions are real. Present that proof.

I find it very disheartening that you are stereotyping all members of a faith Pat. You took the time to write this article and then berate the practitioners of Wicca. I am not quite sure who appointed you to your thrown of world religions, but for the record, Wicca is a Nationally recognized faith. Members are allowed the same rights as those of any other belief system. I would recommend you retracting your statements or you might be faced with insulting not just one, but several groups of people.
