Smokin’ the Butt
The Boston Butt that is. I fired up the grill at 8 AM this morning and tossed 10 pounds of Pork Shoulder Roast on the Weber Grill. Instead of a spray bottle, I am using a ketchup bottle filled with the same Apple Cider marinade I used to inject the pork. Also, instead of putting cider in the drip pan, I use a heavy beer. And a mix of apple and hickory chips for smoke, and by 6 or 8 tonight, this thing should be ready.

Mmm Sushi
San Francisco has many sushi places, and not all of them are top notch. Ryoko sushi, on the other hand, is probably one of the best in town.
I filled my guts with raw tuna, rice and beer and have never been happier. I didn’t eat anything with suction cups- this time.

The Narrow
I got a chance to eat at Gordon Ramsay’s the Narrow Restaurant this afternoon. It is a waterfront pub on the Thames up the river from Canary Wharf.
The beers were cold and the pub grub was outstanding. Scotch Eggs, Fishstick sandwich and sausages in honey-mustard. NOM.
