Mexican Cartels Bringing the Thunderdome
May 26th
The softening of the drug wars and the popular culture becoming more accepting and permissive in marijuana use is causing lots of death and destruction south of the border for a supposed “victimless crime.” Whole towns have been burned to the ground and thousands are refugees within their own country because every 22 year old in the US wants to sit on their ass, smoke bongs and play Xbox. Check out what the cartels are doing to their war machines. Total Mad Max.
From Deadlinelive here:
For over a year, the criminal organization known as Los Zetas has moved in to the Falcon Lake area on the Texas-Mexico border, chasing out paramilitary groups from the Gulf Drug Cartel. As these two drug cartel organizations fought for this crucial smuggling route or ‘plaza,’ Los Zetas burned down the city of Mier and several big businesses in the town of Miguel Aleman, Mexico.
With the exception of the local news media on both sides of the border, the major news outlets in Mexico and the U.S. have been silent, as local residents have been forced out of their homes, creating a refugee crisis to the point in which the city of Roma, Texas has been involved in humanitarian tasks to assist the city government of Miguel Aleman, providing food and clothing to people in need.
The gun battles, ambushes, and tactics used by the drug cartels are becoming more sophisticated. In the counter-attack, the Gulf Cartel has moved in several hundred kilometers into Zeta territory in the state of Nuevo Leon, where on a daily basis, hundreds of dead mutilated bodies have been found.
Smoking pot is not a victimless crime if you buy it off the streets. Liberals abhor killing off villages in the name of big business and colonization, but are just peachy with it if it means they can get high.

Mexican Drug Cartel Thinning the Clown Herds
Jan 6th
A couple of clowns were captured and tortured then murdered by the Mexican Druglords, probably because those clowns were acting funny.
A slow start fellas, let’s pick up the pace, shall we?
From Fox here:
Two street clowns were found dead in southeastern Mexico along with messages allegedly from a drug gang accusing them of working as army informers.
The clowns were found in bright costumes and makeup on a roadside Sunday in the city of Villahermosa, bearing signs of torture and a message accusing them of being army informers.
You know clowns make a pilgrimage every year in Mexico? Its like the swallows returning to Capistrano, but with red noses, huge clown feet, and the streets littered with frightened children and rape victims.

New Global Warming Confab Opens With Prayer to Mayan Moon Goddess
Dec 5th
I think the Global Warming zealots finally wised up and stopped holding their confabs in wintry northern cities where no one would take them seriously because they would get snowed out. Instead they moved it to Mexico, where no one will take them seriously because they are praying to a Mayan god who demanded human sacrifice of girls where men would wear the skin of the dead girls.
From the WaPo here:
With United Nations climate negotiators facing an uphill battle to advance their goal of reducing emissions linked to global warming, it’s no surprise that the woman steering the talks appealed to a Mayan goddess Monday.
Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change, invoked the ancient jaguar goddess Ixchel in her opening statement to delegates gathered in Cancun, Mexico, noting that Ixchel was not only goddess of the moon, but also “the goddess of reason, creativity and weaving. May she inspire you — because today, you are gathered in Cancun to weave together the elements of a solid response to climate change, using both reason and creativity as your tools.”
“Excellencies, the goddess Ixchel would probably tell you that a tapestry is the result of the skilful interlacing of many threads,” said Figueres, who hails from Costa Rica and started her greetings in Spanish before switching to English. “I am convinced that 20 years from now, we will admire the policy tapestry that you have woven together and think back fondly to Cancun and the inspiration of Ixchel.”
Delegates from 193 countries are gathered in Cancun for the two-week meeting.
So just who was this goddess of the moon and weaving? According to a Mayan cultural site:
During this Mayan festival in the honor of Ixchel: the goddess of the Moon, beehives, fertility, medicine and weaving, a beautiful young woman was chosen by craftsmen and artisans to represent the goddess. This young woman was sacrificed by the priests and flayed.
Her skin was worn by a man who sat at a loom and pretended to weave, while the craftsmen danced around him in animal costumes. The ceremony was then completed when the worshippers engaged in bloodletting and then had a ritual bath.
To our modern sensibilities, this seems unbearably cruel, but to the ancient Maya, the offering of blood and life seemed to be the only suitable gift for their gods, for had not the gods themselves given their own lives to create the world? Once again, we cannot judge another age with the values of our own; only observe….and learn..
Love how they jammed an admonishment not to judge the culture. Bah! I’ll judge it by declaring that Cortez did the world a favor by bringing an end to this barbarianism. Savages and their filthy religions and false gods have no place in modern government, and it is just more proof that the Global Warming crew are a bunch of eco-worshipping idiots. Of course they want to end humanity. They should start by sacrificing themselves and maybe Ixchel will stop global warming. Its worth a try?

100 Tons of Pot Seized
Oct 18th
There is so much of it it takes up a whole hanger. 200,000 pounds of pot seized just before the drug cartels could get it across the border. So for those out there that think that things are getting better by decriminalizing the drugs and making pot medicinal- yeah right. They are cutting off heads down there over this stuff.
From Reuters here:
Narcotics wrapped in 10,000 brown and silver packages are on display in the patio of the Morelos military base in Tijuana October 18, 2010. Mexican soldiers seized 105 tonnes of marijuana with a U.S. street value of more than $340 million on Monday in Mexico’s biggest-ever pot haul, the army said. Heavily armed soldiers raided a series of homes in a poor suburb of Tijuana, across the border from San Diego, California, and came under fire at least once as they took the drugs.
The drug cartels weren’t going to use giant slingshots to drop 100 tons of pot into the US. They were confident they would get most or all of it across our borders. Once there it would be purchased, if you listen to the legalization crowd tell it, by people in pain that no other drug can treat. Or, as reality would clearly portend, there are a lot of stoners who don’t care that their drug is contributing to the deaths of hundreds of police, judges and soldiers on both sides of our border.

LOL: Mexico Issues Travel Warnings to Arizona
Apr 27th
So the Mexican government, upset by Arizona’s smart new law that enforces its border security, has issued a dire travel warning for its citizens, alerting them that they might be “bothered” to show their papers.

From the AP here:
Mexico’s government is warning its citizens about travel to Arizona because of a tough new immigration law there.
The travel alert from the Foreign Relations Department urges Mexicans in Arizona to “act with prudence and respect the framework of local laws.”
It says that the law’s passage shows “an adverse political atmosphere for migrant communities and for all Mexican visitors.”
It says that once the law takes effect, foreigners can be detained if they fail to carry immigration documents. While enforcement details are not yet clear, the alert says “it should be assumed that any Mexican citizen could be bothered and questioned for no other reason at any moment.”
What a friggin’ laugh! OMG you might have to show papers, which to any citizen of one country travelling in another, you might have to show papers. How is this not standard procedure world wide? And why do you have to alert people that when you visit a foreign country you have to have documentation?
Meanwhile, our government has a real travel warning for US citizens visiting Mexico. Remember when our Embassy workers were murdered in cold blood in drug-gang-related violence? Our warning here says:
Recent violent attacks have prompted the U.S. Embassy to urge U.S. citizens to delay unnecessary travel to parts of Durango, Coahuila and Chihuahua states (see details below) and advise U.S. citizens residing or traveling in those areas to exercise extreme caution. Drug cartels and associated criminal elements have retaliated violently against individuals who speak out against them or whom they otherwise view as a threat to their organizations. These attacks include the abduction and murder of two resident U.S. citizens in Chihuahua.
So there you have it. If you’re Mexican you might get stopped and asked for papers visiting Arizona. If you are an American citizen, however, you might get raped or abducted by illegal aliens in Arizona. Sounds to me that its safer to be Latino in AZ.

DHS Scraps Eye of Sauron Border Initiative
Mar 17th
DHS had a whacky idea to ring the southern border with giant towers that would act as spotters to identify where and how many illegals were running across the border and would dispatch dudes with big butterfly nets to catch them. But when this 2 Billion dollar contract for a virtual fence almost doubled, it was scrapped.

From HotAir here:
“Not only do we have an obligation to secure our borders, we have a responsibility to do so in the most cost-effective way possible,” Napolitano said in a statement Tuesday. “The system of sensors and cameras along the Southwest border known as SBInet has been plagued with cost overruns and missed deadlines.”
With that in mind, Napolitano is withholding funding for the program’s first deployment until a review she ordered in January is finished. And she’s taking away $50 million in stimulus funds from the Boeing-managed program. Instead, that funding will be put toward “other tested, commercially available security technology along the Southwest border.”…
“But before we go across that border with this – these big towers, SBInet,” she added, “we are going to reevaluate how those technology dollars are used and whether there are other technologies perhaps that have been developed since SBInet was contracted that would be more mobile, better, easier to maintain and easier to operate.”
I said it before. Beartraps.

Mexican Emo Kids Cry Too Much; Need Federales Protection
Mar 16th
This is a hilarious article in Salon about Emo kids being targeted by mean kids who laugh at them. The human rights commission in Mexico thinks that they need government protection and will require “sensitivity training” to all the other kids in High School and to law enforcement officers. Gaybashing is still okay, though.

From Salon here:
Mexico’s National Human Rights Commission says that followers of the youth music and fashion trend known as “emo” have suffered discrimination and violence, and recommends sensitivity training to prevent it.
Emos often wear long bangs and skinny pants, and listen to angst-ridden music. Aggressions against Emo’s are apparently fueled by an Internet hate campaign by other youths.
The government rights commission says an investigation shows emos “have suffered violence and discrimination both by authorities and the public at large.” It recommended the government provide diversity training in schools and anti-discrimination training for law enforcement personnel.
Holy crap. Emos just need to cut a little deeper and allow the rest of us to get over them.

Old Ass Wiccan Proclaims US Will Invade Mexico
Jan 4th
All wiccans are just too stupid to follow the rules of a real religion, and too poor to join a cult. They are also desperate for attention, which is why this old fool who lives in the mountains of Mexico sent out a press release saying his tarot cards predict that the US will move their troops from Iraq to Mexico.

From the AP here:
Mexico’s self-proclaimed “Grand Warlock” says the United States will pull troops out of Iraq in 2009 and send them to the border with Mexico in an attempt to expand its territory.
The prediction from Antonio Vazquez comes with a word of warning though: his record of projecting the future is spotty at best.
Vazquez has been making predictions since 1980 on events ranging from international events to the private lives of celebrities, based on his reading of tarot cards.
Vazquez erroneously predicted last year that oil prices would be stable and that Cuba’s Fidel Castro and singer Britney Spears would die. This year, he says Spears will continue to triumph.
If this moron is wrong so often why did they run his picture in the paper? Oh yeah, so everyone can make fun of the elderly idiot. Like all witches, he should just be burned at the stake. If he’s a real psychic warlock, he will be able to sense the approaching mob and will fly away on his magic broom cackling “Blessed be!”
