Zoey Ripple Shot in the Hip for Drunken Home Invasion

While I’ve been out here in Denver, this story leads the top of the hour news radio cycles- Zoey Ripple, a 21 year old college sorority drunk chick stumbled into a home blitzed on jaeger bombs and got herself shot by the homeowner.
Of course, news casters kept hoping that the homeowners would be charged with a crime for defending themselves, but Zoey is facing charges now. From 850 KOA here:
The Boulder District Attorney’s office says an intoxicated female intruder shot by a Boulder homeowner will be charged with felony criminal tresspassing. Zoey Ripple,21, was shot in the hip. She reportedly had a blood alcohol level above .20
According to the homeowners, they continued to shout to warn the intruder to leave. The male homeowner shouted that he had a gun and would use it if the intruder did not leave immediately. The intruder continued walking through the bedroom, toward the couple. The couple could see a light that the intruder was carrying as the intruder continued toward the bed.
The husband and wife told police the intruder would not acknowledge their demands to leave. At that point, the husband fired one shot toward the light, and heard what sounded like something falling onto floor. When the husband turned on the light, they saw an unknown female intruder on the floor with a gunshot wound to her hip. The couple called 911. The female intruder was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
So CU is a party school eh? Good for those residents. I guess Zoey was using her cellphone as a light and that provided a nice target.

Heroic Man Shoots Zombie Cop. Misses.

The smart man doesn’t wait for the pursuing zombie police officer to write him a ticket. He uses a firearm to take him out. Just remember. Head shots are what counts.

A man shot at a Longmont police officer trying to arrest him claiming he did so because he thought he was being chased by a zombie.
Twenty-two-year-old Brandon Duke was in court Friday and pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to the charge of attempted first-degree murder and other charges. An officer ran after Duke and was trying to arrest him on an outstanding warrant in May.
Duke told investigators he thought the officer was a zombie and he shot at him because he was trying to protect himself. The officer shot Duke, striking him in the torso and arm.
Duke will undergo a mental health evaluation and is scheduled in court again Dec. 3.
Pro tip for you cops out there. Don’t yell “Brainssss!!!” while engaged in a foot pursuit.

In Colorado, they have made “medical marijuana” legal. There is no medical usage for pot, so this really means that the local cops will stop prosecuting stoners.
But readers of this blog know that longtime stoners try to kill their kids in these situations, like the pathetic Erin Marcove who attempted to overdose her three year old grandson.
But Pot is still illegal, and the DEA still operates in Colorado. This dumbass in this video below brags about his “golden ticket” grow operation and the next day the DEA hilariously seizes his stash. I hope they seize his home, his cash, and everything he has gained from this illegal activity.

Federal drug-enforcement agents Friday raided the home of a Highlands Ranch man who a day earlier bragged in a 9News report about the large and profitable medical-marijuana-growing operation in his basement.
Along with the raid, Jeffrey Sweetin, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s special agent in charge of the Denver office, sent a message to anyone involved in Colorado’s increasingly profitable medical-marijuana industry.
“It’s still a violation of federal law,” Sweetin said. “It’s not medicine. We’re still going to continue to investigate and arrest people.”
Agents at the scene Friday evening said the marijuana grower, Chris Bartkowicz, had been taken into custody.
DEA agents converged on the house Friday afternoon and, before leaving several hours later, removed dozens of marijuana plants in black plastic trash bags as well as numerous high-powered growing lights.
The proximity of Bartkowicz’s home to Sand Creek Elementary School, a block away — drew the attention of DEA agents.
“Technically, every dispensary in the state is in blatant violation of federal law,” he said. “The time is coming when we go into a dispensary, we find out what their profit is, we seize the building and we arrest everybody. They’re violating federal law; they’re at risk of arrest and imprisonment.”
Bartkowicz had talked to 9News about his efforts to keep a low profile and said he didn’t think his neighbors knew about what he was doing inside his house.
“I think it’s awful,” neighbor Linda Palmer said of the marijuana-growing operation. “There’s an elementary school right there.”
Want to keep a low profile? Stop running up 4000 dollar electric bills growing your dope, and for God’s sake, don’t brag about illegally growing dope on the local evening news! I hope they bust everyone else in that news report too.

I have mentioned before that with the electronic age, there should be more evidence of UFO’s if they exist. Every human in North America has a camera cell phone or an electronic recording device of some type, yet no one is capable of producing a shred of evidence that alien life has visited us. Yet when some calves die or are slaughtered by drunk rednecks, some people still want to point the blame at Aliens.
Because, you know, after an alien race has perfected science to the point that they attain intestellar space travel, spend fortunes and lives to develop faster than light travel, what they really need most when crossing the galaxy are cow guts from Colorado. From Breitbart here:
A creepy string of calf mutilations in southern Colorado has a rancher and sheriff’s officials mystified.
Four calves were found dead in a pasture just north of the New Mexico state line in recent weeks. The dead calves had their skins peeled back and organs cleared from the rib cage. One calf had its tongue removed.
But rancher Manuel Sanchez has found no signs of human attackers, such as footprints or ATV tracks. And there are no signs of an animal attack by a coyote or mountain lion. Usually predators leave pools of blood or drag marks from carrying away the livestock.
Investigators doubt a person butchered the calves because there is no blood at the scene. “I’ve butchered a cow before and I know what kind of a mess it leaves,” Sgt. James Chavez said.
Some in the area believe the mutilations are the work of aliens. An area UFO chaser, Chuck Zukowski of Colorado Springs, has been to the Costilla County pasture to investigate.
Sanchez said he has sold off his 32 remaining calves out of fear more would be mutilated. He hasn’t decided how he’ll manage the remaining 40 animals in his herd.
Zukowski seems to be pitching a UFO reality TV series. He has the most to win from slaughtering cattle. And he’s local. That or the guy who bought the remaining 32 calves from a frightened rancher. But it is not aliens.

I originally posted about Greg Burr here. He is in court now, and still laughing, in front of the judge and jury, about the times he hit his students in the nuts with basketballs, tennis balls, clipboards and other objects. He even put candy down his pants and then fed it to a student.

A former high school basketball coach on trial for hitting players in the groin with basketballs, a clipboard and other objects took the stand Monday and called himself a fun-loving coach and that some players were lying.
Gregory Lynn Burr, 29, is charged with sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and other counts. He is accused of hitting nine 14- to 16-year-old boys during the 2005-06 season at Monument Academy.
Burr, smiling and laughing as he recalled some of the incidents, recalled four incidents in which he said he hit players in the groin accidentally.
In one instance, he passed a basketball that hit a student in the groin. Burr said he wasn’t looking when he passed the ball and that he laughed, adding that he felt bad.
He also described how a player stuck a piece of candy down his pants then allowed another player to eat it, unknowingly.
District Judge David Miller has told jurors Burr is accused of assaulting the students for abuse, not sexual gratification.
I think it should be a requirement that the teachers are actually adults, not oversized child imbeciles.
