As explained before, the religion of Islam is based on violence and hatred for all that challenge the ways of Muhammad, a child molester warlord from the 7th century. Abdul Rahman, an Afghani man, converted to Christianity from Islam and professes to love Jesus. He was to be put on trial for “defaming” God, and was facing the death penalty.
But International pressure from the US, Australia, Germany, Italy and many other nations have gained assurances from President Karzai in Afghanistan that Rahman will not be put to death for the sins of apostasy, or turning away from Islam.
But he is not out of the woods yet. The religious leaders of the religion of hatred are howling for his blood and are calling on the people to publically dismember Rahman as soon as he gets out of the courtroom.

Senior Muslim clerics demanded Thursday that an Afghan man on trial for converting from Islam to Christianity be executed, warning that if the government caves in to Western pressure and frees him, they will incite people to “pull him into pieces.”
…”Rejecting Islam is insulting God. We will not allow God to be humiliated. This man must die,” said cleric Abdul Raoulf, who is considered a moderate and was jailed three times for opposing the Taliban before the hard-line regime was ousted in 2001.
“He is not crazy. He went in front of the media and confessed to being a Christian,” said Hamidullah, chief cleric at Haji Yacob Mosque.
“The government is scared of the international community. But the people will kill him if he is freed,” Hamidullah said.
Raoulf, who is a member of the country’s main Islamic organization, the Afghan Ulama Council, agreed. “The government is playing games. The people will not be fooled.”
“Cut off his head!” he exclaimed, sitting in a courtyard outside Herati Mosque. “We will call on the people to pull him into pieces so there’s nothing left.”
…Said Mirhossain Nasri, the top cleric at Hossainia Mosque, one of the largest Shiite places of worship in Kabul, said Rahman must not be allowed to leave the country.
“If he is allowed to live in the West, then others will claim to be Christian so they can too,” he said. “We must set an example. … He must be hanged.”
…”We are a small country and we welcome the help the outside world is giving us. But please don’t interfere in this issue,” Nasri said. “We are Muslims and these are our beliefs. This is much more important to us than all the aid the world has given us.”
So it appears that they want to make an example of this man so others will not claim to be Christian and flee to the west. No, they cant have that. Without masses of population that are afraid for their lives if they show any western ideas like science, art and individuality, the grip of the Imam and religious leaders will be lost and they will lose their grip of power on the people.
Islam is intolerant of all but their own.

Violence is used in celebration just as it is used in most aspects of the Islamic Culture. For almost 30 years, the Shiite minority in Iraq were prohibited by the Sunni regime of Saddam Hussein from performing some traditional Shia Rituals. One of these rituals is the ceremonial self-flagellation during the “Day of Ashura,” which commemorates when the grandson of Mohommad, Hussein, foolishly rode to his doom in the battle of Karbala.
Now that the US has deposed Saddam, Shiites are free to celebrate again. Christians and Jews celebrate their holy days without needing a blood transfusion. Not the Moslems- they cut themselves and beat themselves with clubs to remind them that they are bound to a religion by BLOOD. Behold a celebration by followers of the Religion of Peace.

UMM QASR, Iraq The chanting began well after dark and grew gradually. Then under the glow of Umm Qasr’s newly restored streetlights, the men came into sight dancing down the dusty street, leaping and striking themselves on the back and forehead with sticks.
“We will never forget Hussein,” the men chanted.
They had come to praise not Saddam Hussein but another Hussein whose name had not been celebrated in such a fashion for decades.
“This is the first day of Shiite freedom,” said Ali, one of several awed townspeople gathered on the dark roadside to watch the unusual ritual. “This is the first time anyone is confident enough to do this.”
For the first time in what residents said was nearly 30 years, the majority Shiite Muslims of southern Iraq commemorated Ashura in Umm Qasr. The Shiite self-flagellation ritual commemorates the killing in A.D. 680 of Hussein, a grandson of the Prophet Muhammad and a man venerated as a martyr.
Practice of the religious ritual, long discouraged by Saddam’s minority Sunni regime, has been punishable by death, residents said.
Why would anyone want to be a member of a religion that required you to enact the final scene in the movie Carrie?

“What’s wrong, chil’ren?” That is the line that South Park fans expect to hear from Chef, the black school chef and all around ladies’ man from South Park.
Now the actor who portrays Chef, Isaac Hayes, is quitting because he doesn’t like South Park’s cartoon portrayal of the church of Scientology. The same actor who remained silent while South Park creators portrayed Jesus getting shot to death by Iraqi militants during a Christmas show, and forest animals engaged in an animal orgy around a nativity scene, somehow became self-righteous when the show lampooned the idiotic members of his loony “religion.”
Matt Stone and Trey Parker have exposed Mormons in the past too, but Isaac Hayes didn’t appear to object to that episode so much.

NEW YORK – Isaac Hayes has quit “South Park,” where he voices Chef, saying he can no longer stomach its take on religion.
Hayes, who has played the ladies’ man/school cook in the animated Comedy Central satire since 1997, said in a statement Monday that he feels a line has been crossed.
“There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins,” the 63-year-old soul singer and outspoken Scientologist said.
“South Park” co-creator Matt Stone responded sharply in an interview with The Associated Press Monday, saying, “This is 100 percent having to do with his faith of Scientology… He has no problem and he’s cashed plenty of checks with our show making fun of Christians.”
Last November, “South Park” targeted the Church of Scientology and its celebrity followers, including actors Tom Cruise and John Travolta, in a top-rated episode called “Trapped in the Closet.”
Stone told The AP he and co-creator Trey Parker “never heard a peep out of Isaac in any way until we did Scientology. He wants a different standard for religions other than his own, and to me, that is where intolerance and bigotry begin.“
So long, Chef. I will be sure to not let your objections to religious portrayal prevent me from watching South Park. Maybe Chef will be brutally murdered in every upcoming episode like they used to do with poor Kenny. I’m looking forward to seeing how Chef gets written out of the show.
Matt and Trey also need to get around to portraying the religion of Islam for the brutal teachings it actually espouses too.

In recent months, my entire thinking regarding Muslims has evolved from curious cultural inquisitiveness to patient tolerance to outright disdain for everything they believe in and stand for. I tried to understand and be patient with their dark-age culture and belief system. I tried to comfort myself with the thought that if only Muslims understood Christians or Jews or Buddhists, they could at least learn to respect other peoples’ differences and eventually get along.
Wrong. Muslims want me dead by my very existence as belonging to any “ism” that isn’t Islamism. Muslims are very devout to the idea of wanting me and my family, my friends and my fellow countrymen dead. The whole stupid billion believers in a child-molesting warlord named Mohammed can kiss my American ass. Line ‘em up, and tell ‘em to pucker.
You see, it isn’t a clash of civilizations. Such a phrase implies that there are TWO civilizations in struggle against one another. Its not. I live in the civilized world. Those nations under the rule of Islam are not civilized- they are hopelessly backwards and have contributed almost nothing to the modern age of science and technology. In MY civilization, we lock up child molesters who try to take 6 year old girls as a wife. In Islamic nations, they made a child-molester named Mohommed the master of a whole new religion that excuses killing and lying as the will of God.
But don’t take MY word for it. Here are the words of Wafa Sultan, a woman who came to America to escape the evil tyranny of Islam. This woman was brave enough to say the following on Al-Jazeera, and for saying it, she will certainly receive a death warrant. Michelle Malkin pointed me to the MEMRI site.

Islamic preachers are calling her words- words, mind you!- something that is “harming Islam more than it was harmed by the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.” Hundreds died because Islamists do not and can not abide humor or criticism for their beliefs. The video on the MEMRI site has been viewed over a million times. And its all in Arabic.
Criticism and cartoons will destroy any belief system that is so flimsy that it can’t withstand- cartoons and criticism.

Guantanamo man tells of ‘torture’
A Kuwaiti man being held at Guantanamo Bay has told the BBC in a rare interview that the force-feeding of hunger strikers amounts to torture.
Fawzi al-Odah said hunger strikers were strapped to a chair and force-fed through a tube three times a day.
A senior US official denied the use of torture in Guantanamo Bay.
In Washington, lawyers for Mohammed Bawazir, who has now ended his hunger strike, said the force-feeding inflicted “unbearable pain” on detainees.
The UN Human Rights Commission said recently that it regarded force-feeding at Guantanamo as a form of torture, a charge the US firmly has repeatedly denied.
The UN is a corrupt organization, and the Human Rights Commission would certainly accuse the United States of violations if it let the prisoners at Gitmo starve from their stupid hunger strike.
How do you say “Allahu Akbar” with a feeding tube down your neck? HA!

In contrast, a former nurse was sentenced to life in prison here in the US for killing his patients. The nurse was an amateur compared to this terrorist in Iraq.

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Iraqi security forces have arrested a suspect in the 2004 kidnapping and beheading of a Japanese backpacker, officials said Thursday.
The Interior Ministry identified the suspect as Hussein Fahmi, a 28-year-old al-Qaida in Iraq operative arrested over two months ago in western Baghdad.
Fahmi confessed to carrying out 116 beheadings, including that of 24-year-old Japanese backpacker Shosei Koda, ministry official Maj. Raid al-Mafraji said.
Fahmi, who is of Egyptian and Palestinian descent, was captured by the Interior Ministry’s counterinsurgency Wolf Brigade after a tip from local residents, al-Mafraji said. “We managed to arrest three other terrorists with him and seized a huge amount of weapons,” he said.
Japan’s chief Cabinet secretary, Shinzo Abe, said Tokyo had not yet received confirmation from Iraqi authorities of the arrest.
Koda was killed by militants in October 2004 after Japan refused to bow to their demands and pull its troops out of Iraq. His decapitated body was found wrapped in an American flag in a Baghdad street.
Al-Qaida in Iraq, led by the country’s most wanted terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, claimed responsibility for the kidnapping and beheading in a Web posting that included a gruesome video of the killing.
Its very cool that the Iraqi counterinsurgency group is called the Wolf Brigade. And the fact that this scumbag was turned in by his neighbors indicates that Iraqis are getting sick and tired of living among bully killers who march around town bragging about their serial killing penchant. It’s the ultimate STFU to drop a dime on a terrorist.

Al Qaeda claims responsibility for Saudi attack
An al Qaeda group claimed responsibility for Friday’s attack on a major Saudi oil facility at Abqaiq, the group said in an Internet statement.
The statement, posted by the al Qaeda group in the Peninsula on a Web site often used by militant groups, said two of its members carried out the suicide operation, but gave no details.
“With grace from God alone, hero mujahideen from the squadron of Sheikh Osama bin Laden succeeded today (Friday)…in penetrating a plant for refining oil and gas in the town of Abqaiq in the eastern part of the peninsula, and then allowed two car bombs in driven by two martyrdom seekers,” it said.
The statement added: “These plants help in stealing the Muslims’ wealth of oil.”
The group said it would give further details of the operation and those who carried it out at a later stage.
It said the operation was within the framework of efforts by al Qaeda to prevent the theft of Muslims’ wealth by “crusaders and Jews” and to force “infidels” out of the peninsula.

Two cars exploded at the gates of Saudi Arabia’s huge Abqaiq oil facility on Friday when security forces fired on suicide bombers trying to storm the facility, Saudi officials said.
Six people died in the attack.
Its a shame about the security guards, but they did their job well, and they are the real heroes. Regarding “stealing muslim wealth of oil,” I am pretty sure that the Saudis SELL that oil, not give it away or allow it to be stolen. After all, if no one bought Saudi oil, what would the oil do? Sit there? How would oil that just sat underground be considered wealth?
And keep posting your statements to Internet messageboards. That always makes it easier for the good guys to track down the members of the al-queda cell.

In a post yesterday, I guessed that Walmart may be involved somehow in a current investigation into the theft of ATM cards. CNET provides an update today which indeed shows that Walmart is involved, as is OfficeMax.

Sources now say that the case might involve two separate retail chains–one which has ackowledged a problem and another whose possible role is uncertain.
After receiving a call from CNET News.com about the investigation into the 200,000 canceled credit cards, a Wal-Mart media representative refused to answer questions but called attention to a statement released by the company on Dec. 2, 2005. In the statement, Wal-Mart acknowledged that credit cards used by some customers who bought gas at the company’s Sam’s Club stations between Sept. 21, 2005, and Oct. 2, 2005, were compromised. Many Sam’s Clubs also accept debit cards.
“The investigation began when the credit card issuers reported that some cardholders were reporting fraudulent charges on their statements,” Wal-Mart said in its press release. “It is still in its preliminary stages, with no determination on how the data was improperly obtained.”
But the trail doesn’t end with Wal-Mart, said sources close to the investigation. As investigators began to look into the recent rash of unauthorized charges, they found that a large number of people whose debit cards were compromised had one thing in common: they previously had shopped at office-supply chain OfficeMax, said a banking source familiar with the case. Two law enforcement sources also said OfficeMax is part of the investigation but did not provide details.
“We have not suffered any security breach to our knowledge,” OfficeMax spokesman William Bonner said Friday.
According to one banking official close to the case, OfficeMax has been queried by at least one financial institution about the matter.
“This is why we don’t reveal the names to the public,” said the banking official who requested anonymity. “We’re not sure which customers may have been ripped off in the Wal-Mart deal or whether OfficeMax was the problem.”
The other part of my post dealt with the speculation that terrorist groups could be involved. Nope, it looks like it is still hacker gangs that are using the stolen data.
The credit union told customers that the fraud resulted in “counterfeit cards being made and used internationally.” Golden 1 told the Bee that it closed accounts after discovering unauthorized withdrawals at ATMs in Great Britain, Russia and South Korea. Golden 1 also said that not all the debit cards cancelled had unauthorized withdrawals on them, but all were used at an unidentified Sacramento business in the fall of 2005.
Someone working for that merchant is suspected of pilfering account and personal identity numbers from the cards, the Bee reported.
So hacker gangs continue to use credit cards and personal information as currency on the internet. Hackers exchange this information for services, such as exploit code, denial of service attacks, passwords to botnets and more.
And if teenager hacker gangs can use stolen identities to finance their shenanigans, how easy would it be for terrorist groups to do the same?

The FBI is on a case dealing with a probable security breach that has led to the compromise of hundreds of bank accounts. Was the stolen cash used against the US by terrorist organizations? From CNET here:
A data security breach that has spurred at least two large banks to cancel thousands of customer debit cards appears to be connected to an older ongoing investigation in Sacramento, the FBI said Friday.
Scores of Bank of America and Washington Mutual customers have received notifications from the banks that their debit cards were cancelled because of a breach at a “third-party” establishment. In interviews with CNET News.com, neither bank would disclose the name of the unidentified company.
However, law enforcement and banking sources, who asked for anonymity, told CNET News.com that the unidentified business was one of the big-box retailers.
Another law enforcement official, FBI Special Agent John Cauthen, said the bureau is part of a joint investigation into the matter along with the Secret Service.
Cauthen said the FBI believes the case is tied to a security breach first reported in The Sacramento Bee last November. In that case, the Golden 1 Credit Union canceled about 1,500 debit cards after being alerted to possible fraud in the Sacramento area.
The credit union told customers that the fraud resulted in “counterfeit cards being made and used internationally.” Golden 1 also said that not all the debit cards cancelled had unauthorized withdrawals on them, but all were used at an unidentified Sacramento business in the fall of 2005.
Someone working for that merchant is suspected of pilfering account and PIN numbers from the cards, the Bee reported.
In a phone interview, Cauthen said the FBI and Secret Service are “working what appears to be the same debit-card case.”
News of a wider problem arose this week when The San Francisco Chronicle wrote that Bank of America had begun canceling numerous debit cards. On Friday, the paper reported that as many as 200,000 debit-card holders could be affected.
Replacing the cards likely will cost the bank millions, as replacing debit cards costs about $20 apiece, according to Dan Clements, CEO of CardCops.com, an identity theft watchdog group.
“I’ve not seen debit cards stolen like this,” Clements said. “Usually it’s a combination of credit and debit cards…this is a large hack, no question about it. Quite frankly, this is the first piece of the puzzle hackers need to commit full-blown identity theft on consumers.”
The past year has seen some large credit card heists. In June, an estimated 40 million credit cards were exposed when hackers penetrated the online defenses of CardSystems Solutions, a payment-processing company.
I’m going to guess that BestBuy or Walmart hired some thief for the Christmas Rush, and the thief used a card reader to sap the numbers of Debit Cards. Why debit cards and not credit cards? Probably for the ready accessibility for cash. The article notes that the cards were being used overseas.
Identity theft is a huge concern, and anyone who has been a victim could tell of the nightmare of trying to clean up their credit history once it has been tampered with. The biggest game on the internet for theft now is phishing and identity theft, which has been run by the Russian mafia and smaller organized crime bands.
A major concern at DHS is the belief that, if identity theft is easy for small-time crooks and organized crime, it is only a matter of time before terrorist organizations get in on the act as well. Since the US has frozen many of the assets of terrorist organizations, they have to come up with cash somewhere. In Islam’s quest for jihad, how sweet it must be to use stolen american cash against us infedels!

Va. Officer: Man Tried To Recruit Him For Terror Cause
Jordanian Lived In OhioDAYTON, Ohio — A Jordanian living in Ohio tried to recruit a Norfolk, Va., police officer for a terrorist cause, the officer testified in a federal hearing.
David Vazquez testified Wednesday in federal court that Mohammed Radwan Obeid told him in an e-mail that he was helping to start an operation that would dwarf the 2001 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C.
Vazquez said he contacted Obeid through two Web sites, including jihadwatch.org, and contacted the FBI after reading Obeid’s e-mails.
Obeid, who worked as a cashier in Dayton before his arrest last March on immigration fraud charges, was indicted in October after telling FBI agents that he hadn’t used the e-mail account.
He pleaded guilty in December to a felony count of knowingly and willfully making false material representation. He faces a maximum of five years in prison.
Reference librarian Laura Girolamo testified Wednesday that Obeid apparently sent e-mail about gun silencers and constructing hydrogen bombs on a computer at the Troy-Miami County Public Library. She contacted the FBI as well.
Obeid’s lawyer, Shawn Kelly, challenged Vazquez’s interpretation of the e-mail and said he doubted Girolamo could know for sure that Obeid sent the e-mails from the library.
I think the lawyer in this case is stupid too. All email is marked as belonging to its originating email server, and more often than not, from the originating IP address. The email evidence should say when it was sent, at what time, and from which workstation. That the moslem was so creepy that he attracted the attention of a librarian so she would remember him and want to turn him over the the FBI is notable.
Obeid’s attorneys have argued that he visited terrorist Web sites because he was conducting research for a book about terrorism and world religions.
A federal immigration judge ordered Obeid’s deportation in September, and he has not appealed the decision, said Elaine Komis, a spokeswoman for the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
Immigration officials said they believe Obeid entered the United States through marriage fraud. He married a Kansas City woman in Jordan and came to the United States in 2001, according to court papers. The marriage was annulled five months later.
Don’t get me wrong. This man was no genius. He could no more construct a hydrogen bomb than he could eat pork fried rice. He was stupid for using a computer to email people about recruiting them into his nefarious plans, and now he is going to stay behind bars until he can be deported. Good riddance. I say send his Kansas-City wife too!

21st century caveman and former terrorist mastermind, Osama Bin Laden, somehow managed to smuggle a tape recording of himself out of his hidden “Terror Cave” to weakly call for a “Time Out” in the war on terror to allow him and his fellow terrorists to regroup.

DUBAI (Reuters) – Osama bin Laden warned that al Qaeda was preparing new attacks inside the United States, but said the group was open to a conditional truce with Americans, according to an audio tape attributed to him on Thursday.
It was the first purported tape by bin Laden since 2004. Al Jazeera television, which aired the tape, said it was recorded in December.
“The operations are under preparation and you will see them in your houses as soon as they are complete, God willing,” said the speaker on the audio tape, who sounded like bin Laden.
In the tape, bin Laden said al Qaeda was willing to “respond” to U.S. public opinion in favor of withdrawing troops from Iraq. He did not specify conditions for the truce, but indicated that it was linked to U.S. troops quitting Iraq.
“Based on the substance of the polls, which indicate Americans do not want to fight Muslims on Muslim land, nor do they want Muslims to fight them on their land, we do not mind offering a long-term truce based on just conditions that we will stand by,” he said.
“There is nothing wrong with this solution except that it deprives the influential people and warlords in America from hundreds of billions of dollars, — those who supported Bush’s election campaign with billions of dollars.”
Responding to the truce offer, the White House said that the United States “does not negotiate with terrorists.”
This is the funniest call for a time-out in the middle of a battle since Robin Williams’ character tried to call a time out with Jerry Reed’s character in the movie “The Survivors.” If UBL wants to negotiate a real truce, he should present himself to the US’s negotiating team, the US Army!
It should also be noted that UBL parrots Howard Dean and the other democrats that urge US surrender in the war on terrorism, quoting polls and repeating the meme that Bush lied. Of course, like Mother sheehan, he wants the US out of Iraq now!

Pakistani Ruling Party Demands U.S. Apology
PESHAWAR, Pakistan
Pakistan’s ruling party on Monday demanded an apology for an alleged CIA airstrike that killed at least 17 people, but the country’s prime minister said his trip to the United States this week would go ahead as planned.
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and his ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Q on Monday condemned the alleged U.S. airstrike on a village near the Afghan border, which intelligence officials have said targeted al- Qaida’s No. 2 leader, Ayman al-Zawahri
But Aziz said he was still scheduled to leave Tuesday for the United States, where he said he would talk about security issues but also meet business leaders to encourage foreign investment.
The leader called Friday’s airstrike on a village near the Afghan border “very regrettable” but said, “I don’t think that takes away from the fact that Pakistan needs investment.”
The Muslim League-Q party later issued a statement demanding an official apology from the United States.
Islamic groups, meanwhile, vowed to step up anti-American protests.
Al-Zawahri, Osama bin Laden’s top lieutenant, was invited to an Islamic dinner in the village but did not show up, two Pakistani officials told The Associated Press.
Al-Zawahri sent some aides to the dinner instead and investigators were trying to determine whether they had been in any of the three houses destroyed in the missile strike, one of the officials said Sunday.
In Washington, a U.S counterterrorism official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the information’s sensitivity, said it is not yet known if al-Zawahri was killed in Friday’s attack.
The official said the compound that was hit has been visited in the past by significant terrorist figures. “There were strong indications that was happening again,” the official said.
With media reports out of Pakistan indicating that at least four foreigners were killed, the official said it appears that some damage was done, even if al-Zawahri was not there. “This place had a history,” the official said.
These soon-to-be-dead moslims are known to frequent the area that was bombed. And for those liberals that believe that no one should ever die in a war, especially if you are “innocent,” consider this- Wart-Face was supposed to have a dinner with some people in this village. The hosts of the dinner deserve to die. They admire this heinous man, they wish to feed him and house him and offer him shelter, so they are better off dead. Its like inviting Hermann Goering or Josef Mengela to dinner. You would be better off inviting a couple of cannibals to your dinner and taking your chances becoming theentree rather than having Al-Queda’s #2 to dinner. OF COURSE the man attracts missles, and the Pakastani’s are shocked about this?

Well, the religion of peace is in the news today. Hundreds of people get stepped on and killed with the dirty shoes of other Moslems. This happened during a stone throwing ritual designed to somehow absolve Moslems of their sins.

Stampede During Hajj Ritual Kills 345
Thousands of Muslim pilgrims rushing to complete a symbolic stoning ritual during the hajj tripped over luggage Thursday, causing a crush in which at least 345 people were killed despite Saudi attempts to prevent stampedes that have plagued the annual event.
The stampede occurred as tens of thousands of pilgrims headed toward al-Jamarat, a series of three pillars representing the devil that the faithful pelt with stones to purge themselves of sin.
Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour al-Turki said 345 people were killed. More than 1,000 people were injured, said Dr. Abbasi with the Saudi Red Crescent.
Footage from the scene showed lines of bodies laid out on stretchers on the pavement and covered with sheets. Ahmed Mustafa, an Egyptian pilgrim, said he saw bodies taken away in refrigerator trucks.
The site is a notorious bottleneck for the massive crowds that attend the annual hajj pilgrimage and has seen deadly stampedes in the past, including one in 1990 that killed 1,426 people and another in February 2004 that killed 244. Seven of the past 17 yearly pilgrimages have seen deadly incidents at al-Jamarat.
The stoning ritual is one of the last events of the hajj pilgrimage to Islam?s holiest sites, which able-bodied Muslims with the financial means are required by their faith to do at least once.
Many pilgrims had already finished the stoning ritual Thursday and had gone back to Mecca to carry out a farewell circuit around the Kaaba, the black stone cube that Muslims face when they do their daily prayers.
Okay, so let me get this straight: If you are muslim, in order to go to heaven, you have to go to Mecca, stone the evil pillars, and then worship a big black cube? No, I’m not being racist or intolerant, even though we all know how well moslems tolerate infidels like me. I just want to get my facts straight so I can celebrate their diversity. But does anyone else think it is shocking that they ritualize violence such as death by stoning as a means of atonement?
