Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has had a double mastectomy to reduce her chances of getting breast cancer and says she hopes her story will inspire other women fighting the life-threatening disease.

The Oscar-winning actress said her doctors had estimated she had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer.

“Once I knew this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much as I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy,” she said.

Partner and fellow Hollywood star Brad Pitt was by Jolie’s side through three months of treatment that ended late in April, she said. The two became engaged last year.

Brad Pitt is a freakin’ schmuck. He dumped Jennifer Anniston to chase after Angelina’s Tig Ol’ Bitties and stood mutely by while she collected one of each children from the poorest locations on the planet like they were Burger King Smurf glasses. Then the stupid woman went anorexic while she tattooed her body so much she looked like she had been run over by a truck- Then Brad Pitt offers to marry this broken bitch and as soon as she says yes, she lops off her boobies. Maybe the doctor will suggest that Jolie might get brain cancer. Will she cut off her head next? Will the press continue to fawn over her noble bravery?

Actor Wesley Snipes has been released from a federal prison where he was serving a three-year sentence after being convicted on tax charges in February 2010.
The release to a supervised residential location in New York occurred Tuesday, the Federal Bureau of Prisons told CNN.
Snipes, 50, who starred in the “Blade” action movies and “White Men Can’t Jump,” had been serving time at a federal prison in Pennsylvania. A jury convicted him of willfully failing to file tax returns for 1999, 2000 and 2001. Snipes was acquitted of felony tax fraud and conspiracy charges.
In June 2011, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal of his sentence, which he had argued was too harsh for a misdemeanor conviction.

Maybe Snipes can go to TurboTax and start paying his taxes on his residuals from his long string of awful movies. You can read his whole saga at this link here. Fairfield police have arrested a 55-year-old local man for throwing a sandwich at a McDonald’s employee because he did not like how it was made.

Geoffrey Weglarz, of Fairfield, placed an order at the drive-up window, drove away, then returned and banged on the front door, which was locked, police said.

When an employee told Weglarz he could not enter the restaurant, he walked back to the drive-through window, screamed and swore at the pregnant female manager and then threw the bag of food through the drive-up window, hitting the manager in her chest, police said.

Then Weglarz continued to yell and bang on the drive-up windows until the manager yelled to her staff to call the police, at which point Weglarz fled the scene in his white BMW, police said.

Employees had jotted down the registration plate and officers went to Weglarz’s home, where he was immediately belligerent to officers and hey took him into custody, police said.

Weglarz had a loaded Glock pistol in his waistband and was able to produce a valid Connecticut pistol permit, police said.

What a maniac. He should go to a 7-11 and make his own hotdog. Its cheaper and they can’t fuck you at the drive-thru.

While taxpayers may be getting used to seeing federal agencies fritter away their money, there’s something ironic about the IRS doing it.

The tax-collecting agency is under fire over a training video from a 2010 conference that parodied “Star Trek” — and cost tens of thousands of dollars to make.

The IRS now says the video was a mistake and wouldn’t be made today. But Republicans were steamed as they portrayed the tape as yet another example of the government wasting tax dollars at a time of trillion-dollar deficits.

“There is nothing more infuriating to a taxpayer than to find out the government is using their hard-earned dollars in a way that is frivolous,” Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La., said. “The IRS admitted as much when it disclosed that it no longer produces such videos.”

The agency says the six-minute video, along with a training video that parodied the TV show “Gilligan’s Island,” cost about $60,000. The “Star Trek” video accounted for most of the money, the agency said.
The video features an elaborate set depicting the control room, or bridge, of the spaceship featured in the hit TV show. IRS workers portray the characters, including one who plays Mr. Spock, complete with fake hair and pointed ears.

Its wrong to call this video a “parody” because it is as humorless and any tax collector. But it is an infringement on the trademarks of Paramount, and I’d love to see lawyers sue the pants off the IRS. Make it so.
