David Beckman, 64, faces a charge of misdemeanor animal cruelty after police said he sexually abused his pet peacock.

Beckman was charged with the crime after police learned the bird died while they were investigating Beckman about an alleged case of indecent solicitation of a child.
Details surrounding the case with the peacock, reportedly named Phyl, were unclear Friday

Court records confirmed Beckman faces three charges of harassment by telephone, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of marijuana possession, attempted indecent solicitation of a child, cruelty to animals, and two counts of battery.

Look, it wouldn’t be so gay if he banged a peaHEN, not a peacock. And he screwed it to death. David Beckman apparently smokes a couple of doobs, bangs a peacock, and asks kids to sit on his lap. Or Thursday. I’m sure Beckman will say the peacock was coming onto HIM.

That first monkey got a little slow and the bear finally caught up to his lunch. And for the lulz, the other monkey handler made sure to slow-walk his monkey past the carnage, telling him that if he doesn’t pedal fast enough, he’s on the lunch menu tomorrow.

The Chinese have a ghastly record of animal cruelty, not that PETA has the balls to do anything about it.

In a statement provided to TPM, Ingrid Newkirk, president of People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals, described Christie’s killing of the spider as a thoughtless act.

“He probably did it without thinking. Some people put the spider outside, but spiders are often scary to people, and that can prevent them from pondering their worth,” Newkirk said.

Its hilarious that PETA should condemn squashing a spider. After all, they regularly kill animals and even illegally dump them in grocery store dumpsters. Newkirk will condemn a Republican governor but is silent on the abuses of her own employees.

The last known rhinoceroses in Mozambique have been wiped out by poachers apparently working in cahoots with the game rangers responsible for protecting them.

Wildlife authorities believe the poachers were able to track the rhinoceroses with the help of game rangers working in the Limpopo National Park.

The 15 threatened animals were shot dead for their horns last month in the Mozambican part of Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, which also covers South Africa and Zimbabwe. They were thought to be the last of an estimated 300 that roamed through the special conservation area when it was established as “the world’s greatest animal kingdom” in a treaty signed by the three countries’ then presidents in 2002.

I replied, “Oh no we don’t. We pay people to pick up trash. We don’t litter, but we don’t pick up trash either. Its not our job.”

I had to think. I didn’t describe the horrible way Ira Einhorn, the Unicorn killer, kept his girlfriend’s corpse in a box, but told him “Yep, sure. Killed her with a sword. Do you think we should celebrate anything that this evil man told us to celebrate?”

“No Way!” he screamed with enthusiasm. And then he made up his own story about a bad person who stuffed someone in a box, proving to me that the story had sunk in. We don’t celebrate Earth Day or any other secular earth-worshipping event in our home. Teachers can try to indoctrinate my child, and I have to use truth and facts to set him straight.
