I love that Disney/ABC/Marvel are cranking out great programming, and I hope this series beats the daylights out of NBC’s Crappy Heroes series.

What blows my mind about this is how very little has changed in parts of London in the past 90 years. There are a few more buildings here and there, and a new bridge or two, but this London still looks very much like it does today.

A Good Book is Distracting

Blogging has been light due to a main distraction going on right now. It’s Tom Clancy’s Threat Vector. Its a continuation of the Jack Ryan series and it involves cyber warfare with China. It is a huge page turner and I will probably wrap it up later this week and get back to blogging- and twitter and other things I’m supposed to be paying attention to.

If you want to read a fast paced spy thriller and war novel, get it for yourself.

Still The Greatest Show on Earth

Took the family to see Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus last night and that is still one of the most thrilling shows you can see for your money. And it helps if you have really great seats too! Many of the show’s staple acts are still going strong- the trapeze artists, the lion and tiger tamers and the magnificent stunt horse riding. And elephants too, of course!

My favorite part was the amazing closing act with eight motorcycles in the Globe of Doom!

And the clowns weren’t too annoying either. In fact, one female chick was sorta hot and I really don’t know how to feel about that.

KMart Suggests You Ship Your Pants

Having shopped at KMart, the best thing to do is ship everything. Lord knows that the uneducated, minimum wage parole violators working the registers aren’t going to help you get your purchases home any quicker.

You know, KMart used to be a decent bigbox store back in the early 80′s. Then came Wal-Mart which dominated the market and put slacker stores like KMart on the ropes, forcing them to have to merge with another struggling giant, Sears. Now both of these stores are being dragged down the tubes. It will take more than a viral video marketing gimmick like this to get people to shop at KMart.

I Hope New Wolverine Movie is Better Than Last

This Wolverine movie is based on a Chris Claremont and Frank Miller comic series from the 80′s. That sounds like a pretty good storyline, and hopefully this movie won’t stink as abominably as the last Wolverine movie did.
