Fools in Ontario Still Worried About WiFi

Pity the children of Ontario. The adults in the province are themselves so uneducated that they believe that the radiation from wifi hotspots will give kids cancer. Back in 2010 I wrote about the idiots up in Ontario led by a woman named Susan Clarke who led the charge to rip wifi out of schools in Barrie. I think she has influenced a large Catholic Teachers’ Union to do away with the technology in all of the Catholic schools.
Ontario adults typically wrap their noggins in tin foil. Wifi waves bake their brains eh.

Wi-Fi has found its way into classrooms across Canada, and the Ontario English Catholic Teacher’s Association (OECTA) believes it “may present a potential health and safety risk or hazard in the workplace,” the National Post reported.
The union’s statement, released earlier this week, targets the increase of wireless devices such as iPads in primary education facilities. Wireless Internet has been made available in 81 school districts in Ontario over the past three years.
“The safety of this technology has not thoroughly been researched and therefore the precautionary principle and prudent avoidance of exposure should be practiced,” the statement read.
“We’re not saying rip them out of the building,” OECTA President Kevin O’Dwyer clarified. “My sense is that there’s enough doubt out there that we should hold off until there’s more research.”
How absolutely retarded of Kevin O’Dwyer. There is more radiation from living inside a brick home than you can derive from electronic wireless communications. But check out the bullshit pseudoscience these addled grownups quote in their position paper here:
Effects from Exposure
There are reports of a number of immediate biological effects that are experienced with exposure, such as; headaches, nausea, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, weakness, pressure in the head, and a racing or fluttering heart (tachycardia).Moreover, students are considered to be more susceptible to microwave radiation because of their age and their earlier stages of development.
Implementation of WiFi technology in schools will produce unprecedented exposure to microwave radiation of approximately 6 hours each school day, 5 days a week, for 40 weeks each year. This will be without any studies being done to determine the effects of either the short-term or long-term effects of this microwave exposure on adults as well as children.
Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity
A portion of the population are estimated to be affected in some way by an environmental sensitivity called electro-hypersensitivity, which is an increased sensitivity to non-ionizing radiation, and may become ill when WiFi is initialized.
Of course there is no proof of any of these outlandish and idiotic claims. And note that it mirrors perfectly with the claims I wrote about in 2010 with Susan Clarke. I’m certain she is behind this junkscience claim.

Cryptome.Org Hacked- Hosted Scripts for Drive-By Malware UPDATE! Javascript Captured

Cryptome.Org was compromised by some type of PHP vulnerability, adding a download script to each of its pages on the webserver. The compromised pages produced the following AV alerts to visitors- click the photo to embiggen:

(13 Feb 2012) 5,000 more files found infected, still checking, but it looks as though every HTML file on Cryptome was infected. Sneaky: files inside directories and sub-directories were changed to add the SCRIPT with date of change but without changing the directory date. Not clear how access was gained through our ISP. Access logs do not show the infection activity. Any ideas how that was done and how to prevent recurrence: cryptome[at]earthlink.net
ArsTechnica goes on to report that Cryptome seems to think they were breached via the PHPmyadmin configuration page on their server.
A breach that caused Cryptome.org to infect visitors with virulent malware was one of at least six attacks reported to hit high-profile sites or services in the past few days. Others affected included Ticketmaster, websites for Mexico and the state of Alabama, Dutch ISP KPN, and the Microsoft store in India.
Cryptome, a repository of leaked documents and other information concerning free speech, privacy and cryptography, was attacked by hackers who left code on its servers that attempted to infect visitors using Windows PCs with a trojan spawned by the Blackhole Toolkit, the website reported on Sunday.
Cryptome founder John Young said in an e-mail that he believes the attackers were able to infect his website with a poisoned PHP file by exploiting a weakness in security or server software provided by Network Solutions, which hosts the Cryptome website.
If Cryptome was running a standard type of PHP enabled blog, such an attack would be a bit easier- a PHP based attack can compromise the mysql database and the malcode could be easily injected onto each page. But Cryptome doesn’t use PHP. Perhaps they actually do have PHP, but only as an addon available via their webserver administration console software.
The last time Cryptome was hacked, the name of Justin Perras came up- he was jailed for the Lexis Nexis hack back in the day.

UPDATE!!
Coincidentally enough, I began to receive AV popups of my own related to the Blackhole malware. My AV of choice is the excellent Microsoft Security Essentials.
I examined the details and found out that one of my RSS feeds that I track was prepending a malicious script to RSS feed page that is served by Internet Explorer. I carved out the script and submitted it to Jsunpack. As is often the case, jsunpack didn’t detect the decoded javascript as malicious, but reading through the eval commands, it is clear that the software attempts to insert an iframe and create a drive-by download. Below is the decoded javascript. Click the image to embiggen.
It is also worthy to note that this threat employs dynamic DNS to prevent anyone from simply blackholing the IP address. And if the threat is widespread enough to begin to infect the RSS feeds of popular blogs, this one is going to be a big deal in the security sector in the next several weeks.

Mark Berndt Played Dressup to Molest Kids

Pretty sure this is a telling sign that Mark Berndt, who fed semen cookies and spoonfulls of sperm to little kids is a flaming gay. Is there anything wrong with that? Should any 60-year old man be allowed anywhere near children dressed like this?

Asperger’s, Overdiagnosed, Ill Defined, May Not Be a Syndrome Much Longer
Psychiatrists working on the latest edition of their profession’s diagnostic manual are thought to be tightening the definition of autism and dispensing with Asperger’s completely.
It’s a reasonable question to ask in the midst of the furor over the American Psychiatric Association’s proposed changes to the way autism spectrum disorders are diagnosed. According to the plan, the APA’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the profession’s standard diagnostic reference for mental disorders will not contain Asperger’s syndrome at all. Instead, all diagnoses of autism—of which Asperger’s is currently considered a subset—will be collapsed together onto one spectrum, and rated in gradations from mild to severe.
For all its clinical and cultural resonance, Asperger’s syndrome is still only a recent addition to the American diagnostic vocabulary. In the 18 years since it arrived, no one has been able to agree on what it is.
So Gary McKinnon, famed Aspergers sufferer who is using his self-diagnosis to prevent being extradited to the United States to face criminal charges, is now considered by the APA to be merely “daft” rather than having a real disease. Eat it, AssPies.

A man tried to kidnap a little girl from a Walmart store, and it’s caught on tape. But the 7-year-old escaped because of the lesson her parents taught her about strangers.
Brittney Baxter was toy shopping at an Atlanta Walmart when a man grabbed her, tried to put his hand over her mouth and take her out the store.
But she remembered her Stranger Danger training.
“Yeah, I was just like trying to do like this and kick as hard as I can,” Brittney said.
The man dropped Brittney and ran out of the Walmart. Police wasted no time in looking at Walmart’s surveillance video. It not only captured the chilling incident, it also captured the suspect’s getaway car which was later pulled over.
Police said 25-year old Thomas Woods was recently released from state prison. Woods matched the video, but denied being in Walmart. He told reporters after he was arrested, “I didn’t bother nobody, I was never there.” Woods was later charged with attempted kidnapping.
If the first thing a scumbag does when he gets out of prison is tries to kidnap a child, that’s it. Lights out. Why is Thomas Woods still breathing?

Not-So-Happy Meal

A North Carolina Mom learned the hard way what happens when you try to perform a denial of service attack on a McDonald’s Drive Thru by parking your car at the window and refusing to move. You get TASED and your kid goes to foster care.

Police used a Stun Gun on a woman who had been blocking a McDonald’s drive-thru for more than 20 minutes. Evangeline Lucca, 37, had cut the line and refused to leave before she was served.
Employees, meanwhile, refused to attend to Lucca because she cut the queue.
Lucca bypassed the order screen and the line at the fast food restaurant, instead pulling directly up to the pick-up window Friday afternoon. They told her she had to go around and wait like everybody else did and place her order that way, they weren’t set up at the that window to taker her order.
The woman still refused to move, and police were called after that. Employees told the paper that Lucca often tried to jump the line, but that they finally got sick of it.
When the deputies arrived, they said she was ‘defiant’ to them and was threatening them. Deputies then performed a ‘drive stun’ on her, meaning the device was applied directly to her skin, rather than firing the Taser cartridge.
Her three-year-old daughter was with her and was taken into protective custody.
Stupid woman waited 34 years to have a daughter, she can wait 5 minutes to buy her child a freakin’ Happy Meal. Now she can wait for visitation rights. Actually, I’ve often been tempted to find out what would happen if you blocked a fast food drive-thru lane. Nice to know now that I shouldn’t try that.

Julian Assange Wants to Flee to Sealand

Julian Assange is running scared. He is due to be extradited to Sweden to face charges of rape, but he wants to move his Wikileaks servers to a maritime location thinking that would put him outside of the law’s reach. Is Sealand still for sale?

WikiLeaks investors are currently working on completing a deal to buy a boat that would house the controversial site’s servers in international waters, Fox News is reporting today, citing sources. By moving the servers offshore, WikiLeaks, which currently has servers in Sweden and Iceland, among other countries, believes that it will be able to evade U.S. law enforcement and save its founder Julian Assange from prosecution.
According to Fox News, one of its sources “within the hacker community” said that by moving the servers offshore, the site would be governed by maritime law, making Assange “safe” from prosecution.
“He’s not an idiot,” the source reportedly said of Assange to Fox News. “He’s actually very smart.”
Julian Assange is not an idiot. Know who else can operate outside of national laws on the open waters?
I’d love to see an act of piracy on the open waters taking out Julian and his Wikileaks minions. Avast!

In the fall of 2010, a drugstore photo technician was running a batch of 35-millimeter film when a disturbing image tumbled out of the machine — a child, blindfolded with a white cloth and gagged with clear packing tape. From that first photograph, detectives spent the next year following a trail that led them to a South Los Angeles elementary school.
They say they found acts of staggering depravity.
There were more photos, it turned out — 400 more, traced to an apartment in nearby Torrance, then to a bustling schoolhouse in South Los Angeles. There, a veteran third-grade teacher sought sexual gratification by spoon-feeding his semen to his students.
Mark Berndt, 61, a teacher at Miramonte Elementary School in the community of Florence-Firestone, was charged with 23 counts of committing lewd acts on children.
Additional charges are likely, authorities said: Berndt had taught at Miramonte since 1979, and though test scores indicate that he was an average teacher, he was such a fixture that parents kept in touch with him after their children grew up, frequently inviting him to birthday parties and quinceañeras.
Berndt, who was being held in lieu of $2.3-million bail, regularly told his students that they were going to play a “tasting game,” in which children were blindfolded and, in some cases, gagged with tape, authorities say. The semen appears to have been ingested by the children on a blue plastic spoon and, according to one alleged victim’s father, on cookies.
The alleged victims were boys and girls ages 7 to 10.
Berndt was fired, but he challenged the firing. But in June, he resigned from the district, which allowed him to keep lifetime health benefits provided by L.A. Unified. He also retains his state teachers pension.
What a despicable person this teacher is! At least he gets to keep his benefits, right?

Court Compels Hard Disk Decryption

In the first case of its kind, a woman has been ordered by a court to decrypt her hard drive so that prosecutors can use the decrypted files against her in court. She tried to plead the fifth amendment and not turn over the files, but was somehow overruled. This is different from border crossing cases where customs officials have compelled decryption for use in searches- since the laptop is treated like a “container file” and the container is not actually on US territory.

A judge on Monday ordered a Colorado woman to decrypt her laptop computer so prosecutors can use the files against her in a criminal case.
The defendant, accused of bank fraud, had unsuccessfully argued that being forced to do so violates the Fifth Amendment’s protection against compelled self-incrimination.
The authorities seized the laptop from defendant Ramona Fricosu in 2010 with a court warrant while investigating financial fraud.
The case is being closely watched (.pdf) by civil rights groups, as the issue has never been squarely weighed in on by the Supreme Court.
They have the data on that drive already. But if you have to verbally disclose a password to decrypt, how is that not self incrimination? I am usually on the law enforcement side of things when it comes to cyber evidence, but in this case, the accused has solid rights. They can take property under due process, but they cannot compel you to speak a single word against yourself, and that includes a password. It will be interesting to see what happens with this case. What she should have said is she uploaded all of the files to MegaUpload.

Arkansas Democrat Kills Own Pet and Blames Republicans

Democrats have a long- sad- history of creating fake hate crimes against themselves in an attempt to draw attention to themselves and become some kind of perverse martyr. With Jewish liberals, they draw swastikas on their own homes. Blacks will sometimes burn crosses or tie pieces of rope into a noose. So what does a white hillbilly from Arkansas do to fake hate crime himself? Why murder his own cat and write “liberal” on it of course!

It was Jake Burris, Ken Aden’s campaign manager. Last night, Jake and his four kids had come back to their Russellville home. As they were getting out of the car, one of his children discovered their family cat dead on the front porch. One side of the animal’s head had been bashed in and an eyeball was hanging out of its socket. But there was something even more horrifying to be found on the corpse.
Written across the animal’s fur in black marker was the word “LIBERAL“.
This is terrorism. There’s no other word for it. A police report has been filed. Jake said the kids seem to be handling it okay. The one that discovered the cat was too young to be able to read and Jake had quickly gotten the others into the house before they saw it. Pope County is an insanely conservative area and the Aden campaign has been shaking things up even there and it looks like another right wing sociopath with a taste for violence has come crawling out of the woodwork in response. I asked Aden for a comment on the record:
“This is sickening. To kill a child’s pet…I’m at a loss for words…I’ve seen the best and the worst of humanity, but this is something else.”
Both Ken and Jake though made it clear that they weren’t going to back down on the campaign trail, both agreeing that caving to this kind of behavior would only make things worse.
“I’ve got a gun and I know how to use it.”, Jake said. “If I have to protect my kids I’ll do it without hesitation.”
This happened the same night that Gabby Giffords, the survivor of a heinous act of violence, announced she was resigning from Congress. To think of something happening here like what happened in Arizona, the possibility of that happening to Ken or to someone on his campaign team, is frightening beyond belief.
This is laughable. Jake Burris killed his own cat to garner attention and sympathy in his own “insanely conservative district.” And no, its not terrorism, its just another liberal desperate for attention. And to even compare what happened to Gabby Giffords is sickening. Gabby was shot in the face by a crazed LIBERAL pothead- and not for anything Sarah Palin had said, which is still apparently the meme among liberals. The news will come out soon that this was all staged to garner sympathy, and the only terrorism going on is Jake Burris terrifying his own children in the name of liberal idealism.

Canadian Web Developer Sentenced to Death in Iran

Saeed Malekpour is a web developer and an Iranian citizen who was living in Canada and trying to become a Canadian citizen. He flew back to Iran to visit his father in 2008 and somehow managed to get arrested for inventing the method for uploading porn to the internets. Now the mullahs for the Religion of Peace who are running Iran have sentenced him to death like a common street homosexual.

An Iranian court has upheld its decision to sentence 35-year-old Saeed Malekpour to death for developing photo-uploading software used by porn websites.
Iran’s Supreme Court maintains Malekpour promoted such sites because his name was on the software. Amnesty International says Malekpour was unaware that his software was being used for pornography. He was sentenced to death in June 2011. The court accused Malekpour of “insulting and desecrating Islam.” On Tuesday, the court ruled to move forward with the death sentence, which could be immanent, Amnesty says.
Malekpour, a Canadian citizen, was arrested when he visited his father in Iran in 2008. He was allegedly tortured for one year while he was held in solitary confinement in Tehran’s Evin Prison.
Iran’s draconian stance toward Internet freedom is well known. Earlier this month, the government announced a “Halal” Intranet, free of Western influence.
The man is going to get murdered by the Iranian state for writing an ActiveX script to transfer files from the desktop to a server? And liberals thought the world was being unfair to MegaUpload’s Kim DotCom? But a State that murders every homosexual it can find, is going to cap a Canadian WebDev guy, and the strongest adjective this article can use to describe the disgusting situation is “Draconian?!” We should tell the Iranians who the real author of that software was- Mumia Abu Jamal!

MegaUpload Closed Down for Piracy; Cannibalism

I got files. Lots of files. I have so many files that I need huge storage space to store it all. But I have local storage for my files. I don’t give my stuff to websites, file lockers, drop boxes, and especially not to MegaUpload. And its true- I don’t do online backups because I choose to maintain custody of all of my data. And because I don’t use online filestores, the story about MegaUpload having its site raided by the FBI was a little bit alarming, and I thought it might be some type of gross overreach of justice and quite a bit on the shady side- And then I got a load of the fat piece of shit who calls himself Kim Dotcom, and thought instantly, oh yeah, they’re all guilty. He looks like he’s been eating third graders.

The FBI has busted the operators of Internet locker service Megaupload, which had become one of the most popular video destinations on the Web, according to a statement from the U.S. Justice Department and FBI. Seven people have been named in an indictment and four suspects have been taken into custody. They have been charged in Virginia with crimes related to online piracy, including racketeering conspiracy, conspiring to commit copyright infringement, and conspiring to commit money laundering.
The suspects face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
Megaupload is led by Kim DotCom, aka Kim Schmitz, a German with a colorful history who was once convicted of a felony but who has repeatedly denied engaging in piracy.
“This action is among the largest criminal copyright cases ever brought by the United States,” the statement said. The action “directly targets the misuse of a public content storage and distribution site to commit and facilitate intellectual property crime.“
This story, the photo of a massive rich fatty, plus the fact that Anonymous had a collective hissy fit today and launched DDoS attacks against DoJ and Music and Movie studio sites, leads me to believe that MegaUpload was being quite shady indeed. You can have file storage, but you can’t facilitate the commission of criminal filesharing. Napster was the first, then Kazaa, Gnutella, and all the rest. If you don’t first secure the site against illegal sharing you are headed for trouble.

Symantec Confesses to P0wnage? Maybe Not?

Symantec has been p0wn3d according to hackers. And after strong denials of a penetration the hacker group came forward and promised to release PCAnywhere to blackhat for penetration testing. Suddenly Big Yellow sings a new tune and admits “yeah, maybe all our software was stolen or something.”

Symantec today backed away from earlier statements regarding the theft of source code of some of its flagship security products, now
Previously, Symantec had denied that its own network had been breached, and instead pointed fingers at an unnamed “third party entity” as the attack’s victim. Evidence posted by a hacker nicknamed “Yama Tough” — a self-proclaimed member of a gang calling itself “Lords of Dharmaraja” — indicated that the information was obtained from a server operated by the Indian government.
Two weeks ago, Symantec spokesman Cris Paden said that the hacker made off with source code of Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 and Symantec Antivirus 10.2, enterprise products between five and six years old.
Today, however, Paden said that source code of Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition, Norton Internet Security, Norton Utilities, Norton GoBack and pcAnywhere, had been stolen.
Yama Tough promised to release more than a gigabyte of the source code for Norton Antivirus — the hacker did not specify which version — but he said the group has since reconsidered.
“We’ve decided not to release code to the public until we get full of it,” Yama Tough wrote on Twitter Monday. “1st we’ll own evrthn we can by 0din’ the sym code & pour mayhem.”
In the message, “0din’” likely stands for “zero-daying,” meaning attacks launched against unpatched vulnerabilities.
Also on Monday, Yama Tough claimed that he had some or all of the source code for pcAnywhere, a multi-platform remote access suite that Symantec sells.
“PCAnywhere code is being released to blackhat community for 0d expltin!,” said Yama Tough, again on Twitter.
I love to crow as much as anyone about Symantec falling on its face, but this LoD Yama Tough guy keeps providing links to files that just don’t exist. If he is an uber haxor he seems to be doing it wrong. He may be just another yokel running around with a Guy Fawkes avatar who thinks they are l33t.
I think Symantec might be playing it safe by suggesting the attention to their files may bring concentrated efforts at cracking their software.

A white family was beat up by a black family at a Detroit Area Chuck E Cheese. The violence began when the grandmother of the white family requested that the black family stop dropping the F Bomb around all the little kids. The black man in the group passed his baby to someone, jumped over the booth and started swinging. I guess he thought if he hit white people hard enough they would spit out tickets too.

Liberal Anonymous Hacker Cries Over Lack of Twitter

Meet Vincent Kershaw, a liberal landscaper who took the advice of script kiddies from 4Chan, and launched the “Low Orbit Ion Cannon” denial of service attack pings of death against PayPal because his liberal hero Julian Assange and Wikileaks had their donations cut off for the treasonous posting of top secret materials.
Now Vinnie is complaining to a judge that he can’t exercise his freedom of speech without having access to his twitter account and IRC channels. From TSG here:
An alleged “Anonymous” member under indictment for participating in an online attack against PayPal wants a federal judge to allow him to use Twitter, arguing that he is unfairly being prohibited from participating in discussions of the 2012 election cycle, including discourse initiated by President Barack Obama, who has recently vowed to personally post tweets to the social networking site.
Kershaw, who works as a foreman at a Fort Collins landscaping firm, also wants Judge D. Lowell Jensen to allow him to use Internet Relay Chat so that he can participate in “political debate” and “political speech” in IRC chat rooms.
Along with 13 codefendants, Kershaw was named last July in an indictment charging him with conspiracy and intentional damage to a protected computer. The felony charges carry a combined maximum of 15 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
The accused “Anonymous” members participated in a coordinated online attack against PayPal that was prompted by the firm’s suspension of Wikileaks’s account.
Kershaw and his co-conspirators don’t know each other but they collaborated by downloading a denial of service tool, using it from their home computers, and attacking a legitimate business. The attacks were easily traced and logs used by law enforcement to round-up the not-too-bright dupes who thought they were engaged in “cyber activism.” Kershaw would be down smoking dope at OccupyFortCollins if he could just read twitter to find out where it is. I wonder if the judge will grant his request?

A fat retarded lady got on a bus in Los Angeles, and for some reason, this really pissed off the Sheriffs.
To me the most disturbing part is the cops demanding the phone from a private citizen who was filming in public. Public surveillance is not a crime. Being fat and retarded on a bus is.

Egypt Rejoins the Hell of Africa: Muslims Enraged by Bearded Mickey

Now that Egypt is getting ready to become a backwards Islamic nation, the brains and money that made up the former peaceful nation will be stamped out. First up is the guy who brought cellular technology to Egypt- he is going to be jailed because he tweeted the pic below:

A prosecutor in Cairo on Monday ordered the referral of the Christian business leader to court on accusations of contempt of Islam after a complaint against him lodged in the summer by a group of Islamist lawyers.
Mr Sawiris had retweeted last year a cartoon of Mickey Mouse sporting a beard and Minnie Mouse wearing a face veil, prompting outrage among conservative Muslims who saw it as an insult to their religion.
A retweet is going to get an Egyptian millionaire killed, and in a way, this was Obama’s dream for Egypt and the Arab Spring. He refused to support the government that had kept peace in the region for most of my life and now Egypt will march backwards into the 13th century. Egypt not only wants Minnie Mouse wearing the veil, but they want her beaten with a whip for going outside without a male relative. They want Mickey to recruit the obviously retarded Goofy into a suicide bomb plot against Zionist collaborators.

Oh the centurian shame on this one. Ol’ Jimmy here was collared by a Bobby for indecent exposure- probably for taking a wiz outside a pub. The year was 1902, and I bet Jimmy thought the world would forget that he had his dickout, but Flickr had to go and dig up his photo and put it out there (no pun intended) for everyone to see. And by the way, all the criminals in 1902 South Shields, England dressed this way and had moustaches.
