Cornering the Market on Jail Skype

I ran across this bizarre website the other day and it just showed what I DONT know about life in jail. It seems that a company has cornered the market in providing video chat services from inmates in prisons around the US. I reckon that there is no free wifi or laptops to use in prison, and this is a secure, sanctioned alternative to in-jail visitations. And its expensive too!

They charge dollars per minute and can directly debit the inmate’s “account.” Criminals fleecing criminals.
