Michael Vick, who served a prison term for running a brutal dog fighting ring out of his Virginia home, where dozens of dogs died from their inhumane and violent treatment, now has a new dog. He said he got it so his kids could grow up respecting animals and running their own illegal dog fighting schemes.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who served 18 months in federal prison for bankrolling a deadly dogfighting ring, now has a dog.
“I understand the strong emotions by some people about our family’s decision to care for a pet,” he said in a statement released Thursday. “As a father, it is important to make sure my children develop a healthy relationship with animals.”

Vick goes on in the interview saying that he loves to smack his dog with a newspaper and rub its nose in its shit when accidents happen inside his palatial mansion. “I still get a rush!”
