Corner Flowerbox Completes the Patio

This is about 250 bucks’ worth of paver stones stacked on a base of pea pebbles and paver sand. After the three tiers were completed, I had to insert wood backing against the fence. The deepest flower box was simply too deep to fill with topsoil. So we put a base of about a dozen old wine bottles, an old aluminum pail and some other debris as filler.

The flowers are mostly mums, but there is a climbing vine in the corner that blooms some nice pink flowers. And that is the last big project for the back deck and patio. We have a shade sail we need to hang and maybe next year we can get the patio furniture we really want. It seems no one sells patio furniture in August.
