You Gotta Watch Tron: Uprising

The new cartoon on Disney XD of Tron: Uprising is by far the best computer animated series ever envisioned. It takes so many elements from the original Tron movie, adds the vision and music from Tron: Legacy, and creates a new world where the valiant and brave must rise up in a revolution against an evil dictatorship.

The show features the fantastic voices of Bruce Boxleitner as Tron, Elijah Wood as Beck and Mandy Moore as Mara. Even Paul Reubens has a recurring role as a henchman of one of Clu’s Generals. The animation, action, and art will keep you glued, but if you were a fan of the first two movies, you will squee with all of the references the the ISO wars, the appearance of Kevin Flynn’s original light cycle, and even the appearance of Bit as a museum piece will be sure to please you.
